Re: Female Racing Drivers

Incidents and accidents meant weekend to forget for Pin in F4UAE with finishes of 7-13-16.

Hamda Al Qubaisi had a strong outing in F4 Saudi Arabia with 2-1-10.

The Al Qubaisi sisters (21,23) join MP for F1 Academy, along with 20 year old Dutch driver Emely de Heus. Hamda will race with Red Bull livery, Amna in "vcarb" (euugh) and de Heus will use Red Bull "inspired" livery.

Re: Silly Season 2025

I see the Sainz Red Bull return as quite possible. Checo surely can't stay on and think of it from Sainz perspective. No seats at Ferrari or McLaren. Possibly Merc but I don't see that from Mercs perspective. Carlos will be 30 going into next year with 200+ starts. Prime F1 driver age so I think he ...

What about bono? Will he go with Lewis or stay at mercedes? he is staying with U2 I heard a rumour Lewis actually told Bono he was off to Ferrari and asked him to make the switch as well. Bono said he wouldn't leave Mercedes and that Lewis should stay, to which Lewis said "I'm leaving, with or with...

Re: Hamilton to Ferrari for 2025 Season

How you view Leclercs position in this is interesting. Possible perception of him if Lewis beats Charles -Charles never quite "had it" and couldn't even beat an aging Hamilton or +no disgrace in getting beaten by a GOAT Charles beats Lewis -Lewis was past his best and in his prime would have thrashe...

Antonelli blitzes F2 field in his first year and jumps straight into F1 with Merc in '25 as "apprentice" to Russel and then proceeds to match him every step of the way before winning the title in '26.

Re: Hamilton to Ferrari for 2025 Season

Wow. Surely a case of just of last-chance to drive for Ferrari before he retires? I think even at his age he would be able to cover off Leclerc over a season. Leclerc has the outright speed but Hamilton still has the race smarts.

Have to say I didn't expect it at all, not at this stage.

Is Pin definitely doing WEC again then?
I was just guessing that, FAcademy alone sounds like a thin program.
Oh ok. I haven't seen anything other than F1A for her yet but agree. Still relatively early I guess.

We may as well just bring in 2 or 3 ovals just for the sake of it at this point. As long as Liberty at the reigns I could see that happening. What I don't get really is how Liberty want to position F1 against Indycar. They have co-existed happily for years because they are not really a direct threa...

Yeah I think that's pretty much it. None of really know, but assuming the HAAS funding stays the same I don't see a significant change in fortune just by slotting in a new Team Principle UNLESS that Principal then works out where improvements could be made and fires/hires on that basis.

Meanwhile W Series assets up for auction with debtors chasing @ £15m apparently even though last accounts filed Dec '21, show only £4.5m debt. It's just so he can continue to cheat... For that reason I knew she would never go to F1 Academy, because there is no way F1 is allowing him to get up to his usual antics in their series... As for Schreiner, her signing for F1 Academy just goes to prove F1 Academy is not needed, it is just a series...
