Can't find pic was after and its not a driver, but Ross Brawn, when he first started working as an aerodinamasist looked a lot like this http://images.wikia.com/simpsons/images/9/9d/Database.jpg If anyone can find a pic, please post it, its great for laugh, proper 80's nerd! Re: Recent levels of reliability
I'm divided on this one.. Whilst it was always good to see the occasional shock result due to engine failures etc. at the front, I think I prefer to see as many cars as possible do the full race distance. With the exception of all those years ago, praying for a Schuey retirement that would never hap...

There is little point to sandbagging, really. If the team was a second faster than the rest of the field, I think we might have seem glimpses of it in the last three tests. This.. If they really were quick, I'm pretty sure that by now they would want everybody to know. I also think that they would ...

Re: Bernie suggests bringing back customer cars for new team
Ridiculous idea.. What about when all the regulations change again and you can't sell last years car? I think a better idea would be that say the top 3 or 4 teams "adopt" one of the bottom 3 or 4 teams. How it would work I have no idea (maybe similar to the McLaren tie up at the moment) to help the...

It was a very good programme. Nick really seems to be a genuine, hard working person, who doesn't let his disability get in the way of his everyday life. Re: Vettel/Red Bull-Reanult's 2011 superiority exaggerated
Whilst there is no such thing as an 'easy win', the RBR enjoyed a massive advantage in qualifying trim, and whilst the McLaren was on par with the RBR in race trim for many races, when you lead from the start, in which Vettel did fifteen times it makes things easier. Instead, I would argue that Vet...

Interesting thoughts..
Maybe Webber's issues were down to the fact that as he qualified further down the field (in comparison to Vettel), the car didn't like to sit in the dirty air?
A problem that Seb didn't really have too much in 2011 !!

I'd like to see them going back to stick shift (never gonna happen though..) The good old days where you could miss a shift, allowing potential overtaking is long gone. I've always liked the McLaren colours, very corporate.
And I like the fact they break out the orange t shirts when they win a race, another colour that looks great.

Silverstone 2008 was amazing. I was watching the 2008 review over the weekend, and (Hockenheim? the one where Piquet was 2nd) was a great race. Didn't pit at the safety car, and came through to win. (Some may argue that Kovalainen let him through too easily, but to be fair Lewis was so much faster t...

From what I can gauge about testing:
You will never know who has the fastest package, but you sure can tell which teams car is slower than they expected.

I think Button is just one of those drivers that struggles in a bad car. That was always one of Schuey's best points- he could drive around the issues of a bad car and w...

Re: FIA rejected teams proposal pit lane lower speed limit
Is there any possibility that it might have increased to on track action? You could have a team running longer on their harder tyres to negate the extra time in the pits, versus a team that sticks on a set of new softs in an attempt to make up that extra time? There's probably a hundred reasons why ...

It's not certain what would have happened had Senna not died; but supposing he would have just left his car, I'm convinced Benetton's cheating would not have been swept under the carpet as has happened with Senna dead . With Senna 100% fit for the rest of 1994, he and Hill would have been 1-2 in th...

It will be interesting to see if he has upped his game after getting beaten by Button last season.
