Re: Renault's F1 division up for sale?

They have some terrible customers don't they? At least one reportedly not paying their invoices, two in deep financial trouble and at the back of the grid, and the third bitching about them and talking about building their own. Williams have been celebrating dumping them. The current PU's are very e...

Re: Hamilton Vs Rosberg - Luck

Well it reads to me like Toto was just saying 'it wasn't the pitstops, honest'. He was also saying Lewis wasn't slower. But really Lewis was up to 4th so quickly, and Nico was behind another car as well, so Toto's argument is rather PR if you ask me. Though being behind was decisive in the end. Anyw...

It's hard to remember some of the accolades at the end of last year. Senna. Better than Senna. Best of all time. One thing is these 8 races get added to those in 2012 when his blown exhaust was taken away for a few races and Webber was faster. So given that EBD's are gong to stay gone I think he's f...

Assuming Mercedes finish 1-2 the rest of the season. I believe i'm right in thinking Rosberg needs to finish in front of Hamilton 4 times in 11 races to win the title. Whoever wins it will be the correct champion. You can call luck this that and the other but eventually at the end of the year you c...

Massa can be mysteriously quick and is good defensively, but doesn't really have the mentality of a winner as we saw in Canada. Alonso toasted him. I'm not surprised Frank wasn't expecting too much. Bottas really needs to start beating him.

Re: Hamilton Spa 2008 vs. Rosberg Montreal 2014

IMO it was retrospective in that the standard was tightened/clarified after Spa, but that tighter standard was applied to Hamilton at Spa. No, the standard applied at Francorchamps by the stewards (not by race control), was that you don't cut the chicane. That's what he got a penalty for. It's also...

I'm not taking sides here (of course) - but I think Zoue is correct in terms of the retrospective aspect. The only clause that was there in 2008 was 20.1. All the others have been added since and doubtless in six years time there will be even further additions.
