Just curious to see how people rate the GP, which I am thinking of doing through the season, to see trends and whatnot, along with the usual driver of the day polls that people put up.
I get the feeling any option over 3/5 wont be used much.

What have Renault done? They seemed to be the most up for this new engine regulations, and they seem to not even be standing still, but going backwards. Baffles me.

Just seen post race interview with him, first one I've seen this year personally. Christ he makes me feel old, and I'm not even 30! He couldn't even have a pint to celebrate his record breaking points finish (assuming he does indeed do it)

Re: Kimi Raikkonen's incredibly bad luck
I thought he already pass Vettel in the start but he was outbraked and Vettel moved his car before he got the inside line which meant Kimi was a sitting target for others to crash into. Right, and that's what is being called... racing. Remember, racing is what people want, unless it disadvantages t...

People are so negative around here. "oh, I've bruised my leg, this leg is beyond repair, I must amputate." Well what is a sport if not to put on a show? I tend to think of sport as a form of entertainment, otherwise I wouldn't watch it. I don't use the word show to compare it to a soap opera.

Nasr, Hamilton and Sainz. Given all the Verstappen hype, it was nice to see Sainz demand screen time in quali and the race, putting some moves out there.
Nasr was the man of the day, Hamilton entertained me by putting in a fastest lap anytime Rosberg started to gain.

Regarding the lack of cars, I think it was more a freak set of circumstances than serious issues for the sport. Bottas' non participation is unfortunate, I his back had given up before Saturday, you'd have Wolff or Lynn in the car. KMag's engine did what Hondas do best - disappoint. Kvyat's car deci...

Re: Double points is pointless
I disagree, I think double points still makes a huge difference. The points difference as it stands is 17 in Lewis's favour. In Abu Dhabi, if normal points, Lewis would win the WDC no matter what if he finished 6th - 8 points would put him 25 points clear, and even if Rosberg won, he would win the ...

Surely Grosjean must be getting drive of the day? Unfairly penalised for a racing incident (I'd probably even label the blame on Sutil's side if pushed) and still finished ahead of his team mate. Incredible, put the car where it deserved to be, against all the odds.

I'm actually hoping for a Vettel-Alonso partnership at Ferrari. I would love to see that line up, as Kimi - as good as he is - has just under performed this year to the same degree as Massa did. If Ferrari want the WCC, I dare say Vettel-Alonso might be a better choice than Vettel-Kimi. But that's j...

The first sector is pretty good, I really enjoyed the first couple of laps and the action throughout around Turns 1-4, but I think the combination of poor TV direction and overly-conservative tyres dulled it a bit too much. Let's see how next year goes.

I don't think Massa has ever been the most confident at overtaking, I think he lacks that instinct somewhat, though his defending is usually top notch. Today his lack of overtaking prowess was on full show I think.

Not the greatest of races, but thoroughly enjoyed the opening laps. Turn 3 produced some great shots and overtakes. I think the tyres were the problem, not the track. Had to laugh though at "Presenting the winner's trophy, Vladamir Putin! And also presenting the constructor's trophy, Vladamir Putin!...

The only person to make a big mistake was Rosberg, so although he drove a stellar race and proved he can come back through the field, he also put himself at the back of the field. Hamilton, Bottas, Button, they barely put a foot wrong all day, so if pushed, I'll say Button, he's the only one who can...

I agree with lamo and zoue. The team and staff are in all likelihood feeling this incident far more than any of us will, and will be devastated, but at the same time, it's a business, and one they're not succeeding at currently. They have obligations to meet, and in the end there's a lot of retireme...

Rossi is likely, he was all but ready to go in Spa instead of Chilton. Marussia will probably bring Rossi with them, it's not like they have to worry about him scoring bucket loads of points for the WCC. More than anything though, I hope they bring with them good news about Jules to Russia. That's t...

If that's too aggressive, then both Vettel and Alonso should be banned for the rest of the season for their driving later in the race. Nothing wrong with Hamilton's overtake, he took the initiative because Vettel had a poor start, didn't put his car anywhere particularly dangerous, and gave plenty o...

Vettel, Hamilton, Grosjean and Bottas for me. All four had great races. Hamilton was quite panicky over the radio, but he got the information he needed, and held off the apparently faster Rosberg.
