Re: F1 Live London - a bit short notice?
Wander what the real reason is lewis isnt there. Seb seems to make himself popular dispite his actions 3 weeks ago. That was a great entrance to the track from danny ric. I'm surprised his PR team let him miss it tbh, it doesn't look great when he's the only driver not there, especially when they'r...

Re: Does the grid penalties system work?
Just an extreme thinking: Each driver still receives 5 engines per season. When a driver runs out of his 5 allocated engines before the end of the season, thus must have the sixth one, then he will receive 10-grid penalties in ALL remaining races, so not just 1 time penalty. In-case a driver must h...

It's the typical case that when you write a rule, you create a loophole. Whilst I applaud Mercedes for finding the loophole, this is really a case of them not acting in the spirit of a rule. But that is how it is and I hope it gets closed quickly. I don't really know what the solution is but the sta...

I would do a normal Q3 run to eliminate the slowest cars.
Then the remaining 16 are drawn against each other, no seeding, for a 1 lap head to head eliminator

The way I see it Honda were spot on with their statement and they were very close to the Ferraris in Belgium
But then someone changed that pesky light at the end of the pit lane to green and the Ferraris were gone.

Bernie Ecclestone interview with Martin Brundle.
I have to say, I know Bernie is 82, but during that interview, that is the oldest I think he has ever come across. His speech seemed quiet and he just looked "old".
I like Bernie, he has done an amazing job for F1 but time and external factors looks to be catching up with him.

I hate it when they go on about Raikkonen breaking Shumi's consecutive points finishes. Shumi's record was set across 3 seasons when points went down to 6th in 2 of them and 8th in 1 of them I think, so it has to be a better record. It's like when Vettel beat Mansell's pole record.
