How can you say anyone who has made it to F1, and a double WDC has any bad luck.

I have to give direct tv (here in the states) a good deal of money to watch f1, only reason I have tv. So I'm not all that sad for them.

What's worse, really early or late Sunday race.
As I am starting off the day anticipating watching one of the few races us in the America's get to watch at a normal Sunday time. I feel for my European brethren who created the sport we so love. So what is worse, a Sunday race that starts at 5am, or a race that starts at 10pm Sunday night? Of cours...

I don't watch or have any interest in spec series. These were exactly the kind of replies I was hoping to avoid by writing a for me uncharacteristically detailed opening post! Please, more detail! The engineering of the cars and each team making there own design is why I watch, a great race and com...

Re: Theoretical racing cars you'd love to see
Building most of these cars are all theoretical as there performance is simply beyond what a human occupant can handle. The car would litterly kill it's driver, so in developing a car that can fully use today's advanced engineering you will have to take the human out of the car. We should talk about...

Once Ferrari get within striking distance (and there close already) in the Constructors Championship, team orders will most certainly come into play. Even over here in the colonies, where most people don't even know what F1 is, Mercedes is touting the championship in advertisements.

WEC! The most entertaining part of the Chinese GP was watching the marshals try and push max verstappens car off the track. I was not going to say anything, or at least be the first as I imagine most of the course workers/ marshalls are volunteers. But there is a phrase that includes a monkey and a...

WEC Silverstone vs China GP
The Silverstone WEC race for me was far more enjoyable than the Chinese GP. The LMP1's were lapping as fast as the bottom 3rd of the 2014 British GP field. The technology of the LMP1's is on par with or better than F1, and you get to see 3 other class' of beautiful auto's. But the racing was just fa...

Re: If F1 really did 'collapse'
I watch racing for the cutting edge design and engineering, and WEC is surpassing F1. I'm far more excited about the opening race at Silverstone than the Chinese GP, especially since Fox Sports is carrying all the races live over here in the Colonies. I say that as a big Vettel and Ferrari fan, it's...

Motorsport is and always be a very dangerous sport, and the march to safety must always be priority number one. Prayers to all that are involved, but we as fans know that this can always happen. If it were easy, it would be called Snowboarding.

Re: The TV Presentation, a problem?
They had a camera angle at the USGP last year that showed the violent ability of the cars to change directions. Matchett and Hobbs (US broadcast team for NBC Sports) both agreed how great it was, and they never used it again, for the rest of the weekend.

Re: Ferrari Closing in to Striking Distance
This just shows that you never know what works and what doesn't, no amount of planning can guarantee success. Mclaren should always dominate, they have the resources and the best factory, but Sauber is schooling them. But this is why we run the race, not just talk about it.

Once you go to Indy car, you will never be taken seriously again in F1. Villeneuve is the only one who has done it in 20+ years, and it was in a Williams, the best car on the grid. Remember Michael Andretti's season, or lack there of.

Re: Bernie E's Rule Proposal
I fell in love with F1 because of the purity of the sport, something American racing no longer has. This trying to script excitement is wrong, and will never work. It's too easy to see, just watch any NASCAR race, it's not quite WWF (fake/ scripted wrestling) but it's not far off.
