Re: Marko accuses Ferrari of ride height adjustment
Marko didn't accuse Ferrari of anything. He just said they had something similar on their car. What does similar mean? It could mean it was the same colour as the RB's, or made from the same material, or was a similar shape but different proportions, or similar proportions but different shape.

Re: Horner on a whine yet again!!!
Christian Horner is someone I think of as honest and the same for Adrian Newey. I dont blame them for any of the other issues - I blame the FIA for not running a tight enough ship. The hand-adjustable suspension is hard to explain. Surely it has to be larger and therefore heavier to be hand-adjustab...

I dont see why they would use it to cool the hydraulics unless that was part of the way it was made to blow the rear wing.

I'm sure Christian could find a little old lady somewhere who couldn't adjust it by hand - if he had to - so it wasn't necessarily illegal perhaps by the wording of the rules.

Re: Lotus - game changing DDRS
It would seem to be difficult to get it to work exactly when you want - like a switch. If it works gradually more with speed, you are reducing downforce and speed in the corners. Ideally you only want it to work on a straight, but on a fast corner you dont want it to work, so is the rear suspension ...

I think Horner is right. If you can get away with putting things on the car and collecting points why wouldn't you? RBR knew that things were supposed to require tools to adjust but they designed it in a way that it could also be adjusted by hand. No-one ever reported seeing them adjust it by hand s...

Pushing the boundaries of what words mean is not engineering. Getting an advantage as a result of winning an argument about what the range of meanings of a sequence of words is, is not what I think of as a great innovation. Producing a more efficient engine, or suspension, or aerodynamic shape - tha...

I think the FIA have to put a team together to write the rules and ensure the rules are being adhered to. The rules have to be watertight, so for example, if you dont want them to use the exhaust for aerodynamics, tell them exactly where at at what angle you want the exhaust to exit. It will cut do...

The reason they got away with it seems to be that it is possible to interpret the text of the rules to allow what they have done. Its a help in that at least they have defined the significant overlap for a straight. Usually its about a 1 so it was very good for Valencia - 6. Mainly down to the tyres and strategies and a safety car and a couple of retirements, so the track itself is still rubbish. Get well soon Ant. Both lucky and unlucky. The car going airborne meant it didn't slow down as much as the Ferrari, but going in nose first was possibly an advantage. It did seem slightly too easy in Canada, so I think it was not set up right. I dont see it as Red Bull's fault in that the design could have been interpreted as OK because you would have to have access to wind tunnel tests results and then make a judgement call about how much it affected the front wing. If they had the intake to the wheel high enough, they could do the cooli...

Seems to me that the FIA need to take responsibility for their own rules and adhere to them. They write the rules, so they should have a team of engineering and legal experts involved in drawing the rules up in the first place. Then the same team rules on what passes or doesn't pass. They are the FI...
