Going back a bit we saw Fisichella in the same way. An almost universal perception that they were a top talent just waiting for the right machinery. Didn't he though? I also think the kerbs themselves need revisiting. They're almost 1/2 or 3/4 the width of the car now, so of course the drivers are going to maximise their use as much as the actual tarmac.

Reduce the width of the kerbs, stick a strip of gravel next to it and then some run-off, and problem solved.
