Re: Wolff talks about Alonso, and Hamilton's contract.
Rosberg is nearly as good as Vettel, Raikkonen and Button. It explains his inconsistency vs the slightly inferior Ferrari this year. Ferrari is not "slightly" inferior. I rate Rosberg below those World Champions and also Bottas too. Sorry man. Rosberg beat Schumi, Wurz and Nakajima . But Schuey was...

Re: Will anybody do that again?
It is weird that only Fernando Alonso came SO close to achieve this feat after Schumacher <for all those 20 years>, but he couldn't achieve this with one way or another 3 times;
with Mercedes in 2007,
with Ferrari in 2010 and 2012.

Titles with different engine brands?
Michael Schumacher was the last champion to get a title with more than one engine manufacturer; he got his first title with Ford engines, second one with Renault engines and third one with Ferrari engines. The man who achieved this feat before him was Alain Prost . No champion has accomplished this...

I think so.Schumacher forever#1 wrote:...So, for me, it depends on the car for who would come out on top.
Having Hulk&Perez at Mercedes with Ham&Ros at Force-India would have made Mercedes as the title favourites with Force-India aiming for points for each race.
A lot depends on car performance. A lot.

If FIA gives the teams millions of money depending on "something", then i will use that "something" as a scale. It's a good measurement but it's more helpful to judge drivers by a variety of statistics, just as a footballer shouldn't be judged only on goals and goalkeepers only on clean sheets. I i...

So you think Hamilton would win in 4 of the 10 cars on the grid. Vettel in the the other 6. What makes you think Vettel would do great with the Renault engine? He couldn't get to grips with it last season? Because he was not given special threatment since Indianapolis 2007. He got what he could. Be...

I quite like Hulk. Thought when he came to F1 first he was going to be the one to beat. Interesting Bourbon - I think Hamilton would beat Vettel with equal machinery and support - and I'm not a fan of either. If both use Mercedes engines, The Hamilton will "EDGE" sebastian on points like he did to alonso in 2007, to rosberg in 2013, 2014 (sure, Rosberg had better luck), to button in 2...

Re: Wolff talks about Alonso, and Hamilton's contract.
Why'd Ferrari go after Hamilton when they have Vettel? Maybe Vettel wanted him as teammate? As a side note; i remember Dennis claiming 'Ferrari can have Alonso' back in 2005, just before signing with the Spaniard for 2007 season. How many titles would Alonso have won had he moved to Ferrari and not...

I would love it if Hanilton was up against Hulkenberg. He would out qualify him and not be seen in race days. Hulk was qualified alongside pole-grabbing W04s(2nd in WCC) with his Sauber(6th in WCC), finished a race on merit with a second (+1.000) slower (over-one-lap) car too. He will become "surpr...

Of course the defending against Alonso&Ferrari and Hamilton&Mercedes was not spectacular back in 2013 Korea. Hulk did an excellent job in Korea but it wasn't spectacular. If you compare that to Barrichello 1993-1999: 6 podiums in the 5th best (1994), 6th best (1995), 9th best (1997) and 4th best (1...

RG got his donkey handed to him by Alonso and twice by Raikkonen. He's a decidedly average driver, I am not sure why people keep talking him up. As for Hulkenberg, I still see chances. Suppose that Rosberg leaves Mercedes for whatever reason, or Raikkonen doesn't get a contract extension somewhere between now and 2-3 years, I could see Hulkenberg move up. I agree. Hulkenberg-Hamilton in Mercedes sounds very good for ME. I do not want to see...

Well it's probably the hardest position any F1 driver has found themselves in since, what, the past 10-15 years?
