Re: 2015 Monaco GP Race Thread

Anyone arguing semantics about what would/could have happened that would have denied Hamilton a victory in this race, well there is no helping you really. It has already been covered (asteroid showers etc.) but this is a Mercedes mistake and trying to apportion any blame to Lewis is just trying to ...

Re: 2015 Monaco GP Race Thread

Lewis showed way more dignity in the interview than I expected in this situation. Yes, but he initially walked away with his bottle in the hand, and someone from his team had to run after him to bring him back as that was not acceptable thing to do. I would love to see how you or anybody else for t...

27 point lead. A DNF in his pocket after 4 races. Please don't say things like that! Well driven by Hamilton today! Catching Vettel and Senna race by race! This is the best I've seen Hamilton drive. Lewis has been almost flawless since Belgium and will be tough to beat! Don't state the truth? Obvio...

Re: 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread

Good race. Great drive by Hamilton even though he got screwed in the first stop. Great drive by Rosberg, looked much more racy than we have seen for a while, unlucky to lose brakes. Great drive by Kimi, really made the end exciting. Vettel was very ordinary today lots of unforced errors and seemed t...

I can't even believe this is up for debate Hamiltin ran the best race for himself. That's the end of it. Put any other driver in Hamiltons position and they would have done exactly the same.

What a pathetic statement by Sauber and in total contrast to the one from VdG.

If I was at a race I would boo everytime a Sauber went past. Will certainly boo anytime Kaltenborn is on my TV screen.

Re: Rosberg's ability (or lack of) on Race Day

It was clear today and lewis even said he had additional pace if he needed it. What I dont get was that he wasn't defending a title he was going out to win it. Well it share looked like a defensive race today. He was in the lead of the race - why push and win by a larger margin when you don't need ...

Four engines a year innit, they will do as little as is needed to win to stress the engines less.

Re: Kimi Raikkonen's incredibly bad luck

Maybe the mechanics made a mistake? They thought there was a problem and so put their hands up, maybe once the car came back to the garage it was checked and deemed a safe release. None of us can say what the truth is without access to all the evidence. No, they did not make a mistake - witness the...

They were unsure about. "There was a possible problem" there. The car was released in potentially unsafe condition. Not in an unsafe condition. That is the difference. If you do understand. So you got the official statements, and you got the answer from the Ferrari boss and now you may stop keeping...

As long as they provide tires that can be driven hard without artificial degradation they are IMHO doing their job. On track battles should be the entertainment we get excited about not the number of pit stops or the number of tons of rubber bits that define the racing line of the track. Agree. I'd...
