Lewis has been better on fuel saved, so he might start with a lighter car, but the % difference is small. Can he even do that? There were many voices Canada will use up all 100 kg of fuel and drivers will need to save it using any means possible at the end of race. http://www.formula1.com/results/s...

Re: 2014 Canadian GP Practice and Qualifying Thread
So going by the above Rosberg has done the back-to-back once to Hamilton's TWICE...! 4:3 is still a draw. Plus Hamilton has 4 x back-to-back wins...? Without anyone using forbidden engine mode in Spain, it would likely be 3:3 in wins so far and Rosberg not losing WDC lead for even a second. Again, ...

Re: 2014 Canadian GP Practice and Qualifying Thread
Hamilton should win the race from Rosberg by a few seconds by the end then if he's around 2 tenths a lap faster. Could be a tasty battle for third between the Red Bulls, Force Indias and Ferraris though. Massa's soft tyre run looks good too but Williams have been struggling to get heat into the tyr...

Im hoping for a williams podium, Williams getting pole would be only thing that would save the ratings of Formula Mercedes, yes. Even Glock has more points. Yes, he won that race, but what has he done since? You know, I wouldn't call this comparison fair simply due to how much longer drivers you mentioned are in F1 compared to PM. Or John Surtees and Jackie Stewart? I wouldn't count Surtees because for much of his career he was the only driver teams employing him (see for example his whole Honda stint) fielded, making him not beatable by definition. The FIA's combining the two forms was well-intended, but never happened, except when Ascari/Ferrari competed in 1952 at Indy. Though, I wonder why that was the case. You'd think a chance to score some cheap points, say by paying US team to let your driver take part in their car, would be something ...

So, turns out LH cheated Nico in Spain and his "defence" of position was simply using higher power engine mode both were told not to touch.
Then, Nico utterly crushed him today. Not so bad for #2, eh?
Who knows, maybe there will be some entertainment in this season after all?

Nico won the race to the first corner and Lewis fell behind at least one of the Bulls and was behind both by the end. Dirty side of track puts Lewis into big disadvantage. Lewis will rather look after Riccardo defend his 2nd place and later both Nico and Lewis will pull away from the rest of the pack. Lewis will need good pitstops to win the race. Going to aggressively will be stupid, because rather than gaining o...

Nope. And anyway, he had 9 previous minutes of Q3 to beat Nico, should have shown he can then. He just couldn't for whatever reason. For all we know he would push too hard on his own lap and do the same mistake.
