Re: 2021 Engine Proposals announced
How does rewriting the engine regulations so that Mercedes, Renault, Honda and Ferrari have to spend millions designing yet another new generation of engines help towards cutting costs in the slightest?
There's nothing wrong with the current engines, fix everything else wrong with Formula 1 first.

Re: 2017 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread
I've just seen what Grosjean was penalised for. He's turned into an absolute joke of a driver this season. In my opinion, his penalty is a joke. Drivers nowadays have the habit to squeeze the overtaken car out of the track, which is ridiculous. Alonso hits the apex perfectly and takes the racing li...

It's not just those two. I've heard comments from Button, Ricciardo, Verstappen and others. I think people who are directly involved in F1 mostly see Vettel as behind the Hamiltons and Alonsos of the world in terms of ability. They think of him as someone who has always been in the right place at t...

Ferrari have a driver problem. One has excellent speed but the habit of messing it up. And no second driver to jump in. They should have won a lot more races this year. Vettel faded pretty bad this year and Kimi faded many many years ago. So yes, Ferrari do indeed have a driver problem. For 2019 I ...

Alonso must be fuming at his engine penalty this weekend. Surely he must be very much used to these penalties by now. Starting at the back row is pretty common for any Honda powered car. Let's hope that Renault don't take a step backward or even stand still over the winter with their PU. With a near equal PU in the McLaren and RB cars next year could be a hell of a season. If Renault can pull a good engine for next year (they're far too good to continually get it wrong) then 2018 w...

If the pass had been allowed to stand then Raikkonen would have been robbed having given a masterclass in defensive driving throughout the 3rd sector. Every 'I'm quicker than Esteban' whine should be met with 'remember Canada.' Where Perez defended as if his life depended on it against Ocon, ignored team orders, cost his team a podium yet rolled out the red carpet for the Ferraris.
