Re: Gilles Villeneuve comparison with other great drivers

If someone were to sit down with Nigel and write a screenplay, what an amazing story that would be, though I suspect there would be a bit of Prost bashing as well. It theory it would. But it is well known Mansell has the charisma of a brick. A stand-up comedian over in England called Jasper Carrot ...

I think the whole team is better off with Mark as he's been there forever and is part of the machine. Make no mistake, its the machine that is responsible for the success, not one driver. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, ya know? But I don't think the young Germans would have any trouble on a teamm...

Re: 5 seasons time...

Well he was doing ok up to mid season, was Eddie tipping him for a top drive at seasons end? He certainly expressed surprise in the end of year review that Di Resta was overlooked during all the big driver changes. I think many fans of the sport have a very blinkered view of things, if a driver's n...

Re: But really, How good is Vettel?

Seb is a 3X WDC, so has proven himself to be a v good driver. Possibly one of the best ever, only time will tell. Meanwhile, the other current 'top' generation of drivers (Alonso/Lewis/Kimi) have to prove that they are his equal - as they have less WDCs to their name. Drivers' fans can come up with...

Hang on! Hulkenberg hasnt won a race yet, he has had an oppurtunity and blown it. Vettel had a chance to win at Monza 08 and took it. You cant count your chickens before they hatch. Being a promising midfielder dosnt mean you are already champion. You could argue that Vettel didn't have a SC so the...

Vettel has to be the favourite, you can't discount Alonso even though Ferrari will probably have an inferior car again , then there is McLaren who seem to be on the same level as Red Bull now so that gives Button a sniff of it, Perez is an unknown at present. I can't comment on Earnhardt because i have no interest in NASCAR, however Jim Clark was considered to be the best and didn't need to die in order to gain adulation But that's my point.
