Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

There is a lot of talk of Rosberg 'changing' or whatever, but when you look back all of last season Hamilton was clearly faster than him. Its just Lewis made a few qualifying errors and had a few qualifying car failures which meant he had to start from a compromised race position. I can't remember ...

Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

I find it a bit lame to suggest that his team have broken his spirit, has no one considered the banning of driver coaching that came into being halfway through last season, look how desperate Rosberg was for the team to help him out in qualifying but the new rules prevented them from doing that, I ...

Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

Rosberg has been #2 ever since Spa last year. Public "persecution"... broken spirit, shattered confidence. I see him as only a fraction of the driver he was before then. Unless I'm mistaken, something else changed at Spa last year: radio rules. This weekend Rosberg again asked for information he's ...

Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

As each race passes it's becoming clearer that Rosberg just isn't on the same level as Hamilton is, nor is he as consistent in his performance level. Rosberg is good, but he's not great. Yep and good maybe at least to the level of let's say a Bottas, some will not perhaps accept just how good Hamil...

Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

Overall Rosberg was faster than Hamilton in: Malaysia 2013 Bahrain 2013 Spain 2013 Monaco 2013 Singapore 2013 India 2013 Abu Dhabi 2013 Bahrain 2014 Spain 2014 Malaysia 2015 Note that faster is not necessarily synonymous with better. Re: Hamilton has now beaten Rosberg in 8 of the last 10 race

In Bahrain and Spain 2014, Hamilton won fair and square, but he certainly did not look faster than Rosberg in those races. Anyway, if Rosberg really is the useless #2 that a lot of people on here want to believe, then I am fully expecting Lewis to dominate him this season; and with dominate, I mean...

Rosenberg has been #2 ever since Spa last year. Public "persecution"... broken spirit, shattered confidence. I see him as only a fraction of the driver he was before then. Very sad, actually. With all due respect, this is absurd. He's exactly the same driver that he was before then. The only differ...

Re: What Can Be Done for 2016?

One brilliant performance from Vettel and Ferrari may have restored some credibility to the sport, but it hasn't fixed it. As has been said countless time, Malaysia was an unusually tyre limited race and is unlikely to be repeated more than once or twice this season. It does however provide an answ...

Of course it's possible, but I don't think it's likely. I'll be very happy if that's the case in China, but I'm very doubtful I wouldn't be betting against the rest of the season though that there might be more wins for Ferrari I suspect there will be wins, but I'm not convinced that there will be ...

Perhaps Hulkenberg&Carlos Sainz jr. or Ricciardo&Max will be too good with a Mercedes GP car to beat on track. Interestingly, when Hamilton was on mediums and Rosberg was on hards in the middle stint of the race, Hamilton wasn't at all able to extend his gap to Rosberg by more than a few seconds. Mercedes were not really any faster on mediums than they were on softs. In that case, I'd say that Nico couldn't...

Call me a fanboy if you want, but I think that Rosberg drove a great race today. He finished only 3.7 seconds behind Lewis despite being forced to stack behind him in the first pit stops, and losing several places because of it. When Rosberg cleared Hulkenberg on lap 14 (?), the gap between himself...

You can if you analyse it. All through the race Brundle / Croft were saying that Mercedes were unable to unleash their full potential as they were shortening the life of their tyres. Allison normally makes cars which are very kind to its tyres - witness the Lotus when he was there - and which excel...

The race engineers give positive messages to their drivers, because they motivate them this way. They're not gonna say "your pace is not enough, just give up" and stuff like that. Positive messages are fine, but telling your drivers they are still on target for a 1-2 that was blindingly obviously n...

Rosberg will have to slot into a No2 role pretty quickly if Vettel is as close to them in China as he was today. Raikkonen will do likewise for Vettel.
