Re: 2017 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread
Finding F1 stats online is usually quite easy, but weirdly finding a list of the fastest F1 races in history is proving really difficult - this was 70 seconds slower than the record, but the Mercs were coasting for the final 2/3rds of the race - I'm curious where it slots in (is it in the top 10?),...

Re: 2017 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread
Isn't Singapore traditionally a bad circuit for the Mercedes? I hope that's sarcasm  . Literally the only thing they've talked about for the last 2 weeks is how Ferrari will have the upper hand at Singapore, i'm so sick of them talking about it. We won't know until it happens! Not at all. They...

Re: 2017 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread
So Lauda is aware of the significance of a three point lead in light of Hungary. Isn't it a net gain of six points and isn't that compared with an initial loss of six to Valtteri?
[edit] I mean, Hamilton should be six points ahead now and instead it's only three.

WHAT the heck is going on here,,,, they now showed Lewis with a pole time of 1:35 sumthin, when twice they showed his time as 1:34.660 before his last run in Q3??? NBCSN has shown and not shown timing and scoring in the Q3 session and for the 3rd time I now see Lewis as doing 1:34.660????? As noted...

Watford's equaliser for 3-3 can't have been offside. The ball was played backwards by his teammate and was deflected towards the goal line by a combination of the Liverpool defender and Mignolet's arm. You are offside if you are in an offside position and disrupt the keeper, which Britos is clearly...

I'd like to bet that Massa in a Ferrari could have got Hamilton a penalty today. I will never understand how anyone could have thought that Alonso's Monza penalty was fair or just but if it was a penalty in the eyes of the FIA, surely they must have thought Hamilton affected Grosjean's lap today?

Looking at Bottas reaction time it was a jump start. The 0.2 figure is BS anyway, he was moving before the lights went out. That is not a 0.2 reaction. He reacted before they went out its just the sensor they use to tell if the car is moving only activates after approx 140mm of movement so he didn't set that off until 0.2. That is the only way they c...
