I'd definitely have Bottas above Kimi - he won 3 races.
You can't say Kimi didn't have a car capable of winning races.

I've also heard that Stroll's dad blocked him at one of the F2 teams - is that true? Seems a bit weird if so! It is indeed rumoured (though not confirmed IIRC) that Stroll's father blocked Norris at Prema. He is one of the major shareholders of Prema though (again, IIRC), so he gets his say I suppo...

I think Renault reliability wasn't great - all the best engines went to Renault and Red Bull. (although Max had many issues early season)
Slightly off topic - it begs the question, what will happen next season - McLaren will want top notch engines, can Renault supply that many top spec units?

Could Santander become a more prominent partner of McLaren now Alonso is still there for next season? Zak did confirm he has signed 2 partners for next season which are not confirmed and with no JB at McLaren for the UK side for Santander could Alonso replace him? Re: F1 racing on a oval.
This would probably end up as shades of the 2005 US Grand Prix where all but six of the cars pulled into the pits at the end of the formation lap and refused to race. The culprit in that case was tires that would not handle one of the turns on the Indy oval. Running turn one backwards was causing t...

Had the need occured, I don't think Lewis would have had a massive issue in moving over. He knows he has Bottas covered most weeks so play the team game.

What concerned me in Brazil was his description of his tyre failure. He came over the radio saying something was stuck/hanging off his tyre like it was debris. From what I saw it looked like a chord within the tyre which became exposed due to the tyre delaminating. Happy to be corrected if I'm wron...

1. Bottas should have covered the inside, standard practise at Brazil. Should have been watching the race starts on youtube last night! 2. Hamiltons race wasn't really from last. I have a question - did Ferrari get any assistance pre - 1996?
I wonder if things would have been different if Michael had not gone there - I'm in no way saying he would have had anything to do with it (1996 onwards), but he was such a powerful force in the sport there's always the possibility..

Seems to be sensible. Red Bull are clearly not sold on Gasly or Kvyat so it stands to reason they would use the rest of the season to test out various options. They no exactly what Kvyat can do by now and he;s not scoring points to contribute to the WCC anyway so no need to run him. Slim pickings.....

So how does Carlos' stand regarding engine parts? They are allocated to a driver (so you can't give parts to a team mate I guess), but how does that work when you swap to a new team? Does he have to make do with what Palmer had left? I think Renault took a penalty with Palmer at Japan to give Sainz...
