I've been able to do well on bronze, silver i struggle, but no higher than that (went into a platinum game and got destroyed within seconds!!

I'm still trying to find decent weapons, i'm a quarian engineer, with a nice turret! but i get destroyed by anything with armour and those banshee thingies!

Yeah don't spend real money on it, it's not worth it! If you like multiplayer and play a lot then you'll quickly pick up enough in-game credits. A good thing to do is spend it all on lower-tier packs first, to max out all your lower-tier weapons, because then you won't pick up any more of those wea...
