Re: Where is Super Seb?
Just to clarify, I'm not "playing the game", so to speak - I was only trying to show that out of people's opinions and statistics, only one is FACT. I'm not trying to argue that Schumacher's the greatest because of his stats (although I'm of the opinion that he is) - I mentioned it as a tongue-in-c...

Re: Where is Super Seb?
Win % is not a stat officially recorded anywhere - the number of poles, wins and world championships are. Sorry, but your example is sort of like saying (taken from another poster) Wilkenhock is the greatest ever because he's led a higher % of races he competed in than any other driver. It's derive...

Re: Where is Super Seb?
We cannot know that. We can only speculate, yet some people think they know who is better than who, but really, they can't know. Only the drivers themselves know. I can only say I rate them all highly. So do I Froze but a person has to look at thing objectively. Last year there were people who were...

No matter what you'all say, Vettel has had more successful career than Hamilton, Button or Räikkönen. Prost had a more successful career than Senna, but guess who is remembered as the greatest. Well that's just a matter of your personal opinion isn't it? Statistics are really the only objective way...

Super Seb doesn't exist Ahh he does in some peoples minds. Last year it seemed there were people who were ready to put him among the greats of the sport. He had a car that was clearly the class of the field. He had a team that revolved around him and he had a team mate who simply could not get to g...

Re: Oh no, Webber has always been...............
The hard thing to understand is that Webber seems oblivious to the fact. He's aware, even cracked a joke about it before the last GP and says 'we're working on it'. I don't know what the problem is but yeah, it shafts him almost every time. He's ben saying "Were working on it" for how long now & it...

Re: Qualifying: How to fix it?
Costs will go up yes, but sometimes you have to put in the cost to produce a great show! TBH Quali can go hang if it keeps the racing this good. Or give points for Quali, 10 down to 1 from pole to 10th. Qualifying should only ever be a determination for where you start in the race. As stated in an ...

Re: The Official V8Supercars thread 2012
Here is a question I have always wondered about v8 super cars: Why on earth do they have to race giant family 4 door saloon cars? And why stick with v8? Back in the 90s when there was a cross roads to go the way of the Sierra cossies/skyline GTRs/BM 3 series/jag xks, or the way of the falcodore, wh...

For others, You tube them, especially their coverage of the olympics (their show was called The Dream)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but last year didn't RB use a clutch setup that didn't suit Mark and it was only when Vettel won the WDC that they changed Webbers clutch set up to suit him more, at which point his starts were pretty much on par with Sebs? I thought James Allen was pretty good until Hamilton turned up and he fell in love. Much better then Legard anyway. On a side note having rewatched old races in the Murray era, his bias towards schuey is blatant. Not so much when Hill was competing with him but certainly 97 on. I dont think he deni...

Interesting, but I doubt that the team "donating" the cars would be too impressed, neither the other constructors. Also would you let them run as they were the previous year, or have them conform to new regulations i.e. EBD. Bernie Ecclestone, head of F1 commercial rights holder Formula One Managem...

....... Then i'll hope 2013 is closer.
F1 teams fortunes rise and fall. Some just more than others (read Williams and, going back to the 80's, Lotus).
Red Bulls time will come and I think we are in for a real competitive season.
