Re: The Official Gaming Thread
I have just been bought some Turtle Beach DX11s by my amazing fiancée and all i can say is:epicwinawesomefantasticeargasm! I played FM4 first which sounds sublime (hello 787B) and then tried Battlefield 3 which was an experience like no other! I highly recommend anyone to get a decent set of gaming...

Re: Classic videogames thread
I don't go as far back with games as some. Mega Drive and SNES was about the first, though I missed most of that generation really. N64 on the other hand... I played N64 a lot, along with PSX. Then GC, PS2 and Xbox and now mostly only 360. I had a Wii but it was mostly useless imo. PS3 has such a sm...

Re: Vettel/Red Bull-Reanult's 2011 superiority exaggerated
I agree for the most part. Vettel didn't win by huge margins a lot of the time. He did win a lot. I think the Red Bull was the finest car in the field. And I think Vettel is certainly both very, very good at what he does and in very, very good form (though perhaps such longevity of good form indicat...

@ Alienturnedhuman I couldn't ever get the jumpglitch to work. Might have just been screwing it up. I agree entirely that the world is nicer (my only gripe being the jumpglitch and mountains). But I felt the game as a whole added something with one hand and took away with the other hand. Fallout 3, ...

Re: F1 without Ferrari: how would it be?
Like it or not, I believe Ferrari are more important than other teams. It's the history and their 100% record. If they quit tomorrow, it's a bigger story than McLaren, Red Bull, Williams, etc. They are not bigger than the sport, but if you gave the teams proportional clout, I'd give Ferrari the bigg...

Re: The Official Gaming Thread
Skyrim is great, but in all honesty Fallout 3 and Oblivion represent better games. I actually consider Morrowind (GotY edition) to be the best of the bunch. Skyrim lacked any real ingenuity. No interesting ways to kill in the Darkbrotherhood. No epic missions. No silly crap like having to rescue a g...

David and Goliath and Jack and the Beanstalk may be taught in school but not in terms of history. Anyway, it depends on how tall someone has to be to be called a giant. I've seen a few people with giantism (the disease). No reason why that couldn't produce a big dude in the past. Someone at 7 foot i...

I would prefer lollipop to that. I think the Ferrari one would be good if they had a separate guy to to look down the pit and at the fuel rig (back in the day). I agree with Charlie in general, though maybe if the guys in the pitlane want it reduced, maybe we should listen.
That said, I still think current limits are pretty reasonable.

HRT are growing on me. They've gone from being a joke team to being a lovable joke team.
