I'm sure a malaysian member can correct me if I'm wrong, but a year ago I was in Malaysia (Sabah, but still) and I remember they had thunderstorms forecast for every day but only on one day it actually rained where we were, so I got the impression that the rains are extremely local and/or sporadic. ...

I think that this is precisely what those of us who have voted him as driver of the day have asked ourselves, and that the answer we are coming with is "most likely yes". From what I have read, that conclusion is very much aligned with the comments Brundle and Hill were making today on Sky. Really?...

Button takes it off Alonso for me. The main reason being that it's hard to tell how good Alonso really was when you have Massa to compare him too. What??? I wish. Why they haven't gotten rid of him long ago is a mystery to me, he's an embarrassment to Ferrari. No wait, to F1. Ok maybe I'm being a bit harsh but it does make you wonder what exactly is keeping him in one of the most coveted seats in the sport.

Otherwise Button is not really that good. Not in top teir of drivers TBH. Do you even watch racing or just...

9 podiums in his first 9 races, it was the best rookie season by a long long margin.
