Re: McLaren Renault deal
The fear that Honda goes to Torro Rosso, and then magically Red Bull has a works deal needs examining. It may appear unfair to Mclaren, but isn't Mclaren's lack of due diligence on picking an engine partner, and subsequent hands in pocket approach also partly to blame? If Red Bull gets that engine p...

It's all going to go there in my lifetime. UK has been new petrol & diesel car sales from 2040 onwards, I believe some other countries are being even more aggressive than this. How do people who live in cities use electric cars? It's very easy to charge a car when all you have to do is drive up to ...

Yeah I don't think Vettel crumbled at all this weekend, he had a bad start and made a pretty ham fisted go at getting rid of Verstappen before his first stop, and that pretty much screwed his race from there on in. Raikonnen looked like the Kimi of old, and had Vettel's number all race. He was only...

It's a bit interesting that British commentators and Hamilton fans you can't separate them, they come up with ridiculous arguments that you just have to laugh. I wonder how many people who were up in arms about FIA going soft on a WDC contender in Austria will have the exact same/opposite reaction now. It was wrong to consider WDC status in Austria, it's wrong now. Not to forget the precedent they're setting with these actions. I would be very surprised i...

No penalty for Hamilton: http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/355893/ That sets a bad precedent. Jordan, Susie Wolff, Coulthard and Symonds thought it wasn't impeding. I know they are British so there is bias there, but I've seen far worse blocking than what Lewis did. I want to see Lewis vs Seb tomo...

Would Mclaren Honda be allowed to do the following? 1) Withdraw from this season in F1. 2) Rent out Suzuka from now until the end of the year. Owned by a subsidiary of Honda. 3) Do unlimited testing 4) Come back next year with a better car/engine package. This would save them the public relations di...

The VSC allowed everybody to hit the crossover point without too much of a penalty. Ferrari/Vettel nailed it. The SC then punished everybody who got it right. Perhaps the powers that be should relax the in-season testing ban this year to give Honda a real shot at catching up on the engine front. The other teams at the front can benefit too and I think it will be a boon to Ferrari/Red Bull in particular. Would hate to see one our great drivers walking away...
