Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2015 Belgian Grand Prix
It seems some people have been blinded by Kvyat last race and this one. In Hungary he was over 20 seconds behind Ricciardo before Ricciardo was taken out by the Mercs and at Spa he was over 12 seconds behind before engine failure cost Ricciardo. I see nothing special. Re: Ricco is a late braking GOD!
Rosberg wasn't steering away from Ricciardo when he ran into Ric. You must leave a car width to the edge of the track. End of story. Sorry but that excuse is heavily flawed. You must leave a car's width of space only AFTER you make your SINGLE allowed move to defend. In this case Rosberg not only y...

Re: Team Mate Battles - Hungarian GP
It's pretty rare for team mates to do the exact same length stints on tyres. It's pretty common for team mates to have them come in on consecutive laps though. This is not just "not exactly the same length", this is effectively switching strategy. Maybe they started out on the same strategy but tha...

Re: Team Mate Battles - Hungarian GP
Yeah Ricciardo was the better driver but Kvyat gets the points because he finished in front, yet Rosberg is looked as the better driver and gets the points even though he finished behind, strange? :? No, if you actually read it the logic is consistent. The slower driver who made less errors gets th...

Not sure how you can say that Kvyat won the race over Ricciardo when even Kvyat's engineer told him he was crap on the day. Whoever posted that pick with the 12 car lengths is having a laugh, lol. I've done a bit of racing and the general rule of thumb is that if another car is up to your B pillar at turn in then it is their corner. If they are coming in too fast from too far behind then even most amatuers should be able...

Lewis is really smashing Rosberg on Saturdays this year. I never thought it would be this one sided. The most exciting battle will be Ricciardo against Vettel. Those two are so close in pace. If Rosberg continues to struggle with balance tomorrow, then he might be up for the taking also. The Willia...

I've said it for years. There is no need for crappy tires when you already have DRS. I'd love to see the sport back on the edge again instead of drivers driving to delta times and nursing the tires. This ^^^. Or to keep everyone happy: no refuelling, 2 compulsory pit stops and 2 different tyres tha...

Re: Mercedes Engine Mode Advantage - Qualifying
I think the power of the Ferrari engine is approaching that of Mercedes, but the layout of the Mercs engine allow the packaging and therefore handling of the car to be much better.
There is also something going on with how the Merc puts it's power down coming out of slow corners.

Front wing damage also would have effected brake cooling. Radio transmission alludes to this when they told Ricciardo his brakes were getting too hot and to let Kvyat by. Let us not forget that 2014 also started off with Ricciardo starting in front of his team mate in Melbourne, only for the team ma...

Having listened to Webber commentate over the race weekend, I can say he was superb - a better commentator than a driver! IMO he is the best F1 commentator out of everyone, it's a shame he doesn't do it all the time.

Hamilton is quick but inconsistent, Rosberg is almost as quick but normally more consistent.
If Hamilton would stop locking up every 5 minutes he would be considered as one of the elite drivers, but not at the moment... unless you are speaking to someone from the UK.
