Re: 2022 U.S. Grand Prix Race Thread
Great race, so many overtaking and great performances. Little disappointed with Hamilton defense, hoping it would have gone some more time. Max, Charles battle was great to watch. Although Max and Vettel had poor pit stop it gave more entertainment in the end. lol. Norris also made lost of moves at ...

Re: 2022 an improvement?
Definitely an improvement and drivers have also confirmed that it is easy to follow now. Sadly you still need good performance to actually overtake cars. Bernie idea of making track damp could work lol. Also they need to improve tyres a lot. We need more performance and less management. That is the ...

Verstappen, Ocon & Vettel Really? He made a stupid mistake at the start that dropped him all the way to the back. He was then saved by the restart and with nothing to lose, ultimately got the best strategy. lol. He actually had a good start. If anything he gave too much room to Alonso in the start ...

Glad they got the race. It was exciting race. Not sure how the Japanese track are made with slope but Fuji and here in Suzuka as well the rain makes it looks so much worse than any other track. But it is a great track and it was nice to watch them race in the spray. That is what these drivers are pa...

Ted Kravitz says at the last race in Singapore, Sebastian Vettel noticed something on the Red Bull. "He said the car comes out of a corner then it drops and then just disappears. He is hinting at a collapsible rear suspension. They can run a high rear rake," Kravitz Is this a similar thing to what ...

Re: 2022 Singapore Grand Prix Race Thread
Great result for Perez. Not sure about the delay and lack of DRS but there were some overtake unlike Monaco but it was mostly Max doing it. The track is having too many corners and everyone waiting for SC, VSC. But I still like this more than Monaco as drivers really have to drive 2 hrs in humid con...

Exciting qualifying. I think Perez can help Charles win the race tomorrow by holding rest. This track is difficult to overtake so I doubt Max can get podium tomorrow. Not sure what has happened to Bottas, he used to be really good in qualifying but now is getting beat by a Rookie

Re: Hamilton vs Verstappen
I do not think Hamilton is second best. IMO Max is the best and Charles is very close to him if not on par with him. If he gets support from Ferrari he can beat him next year. I also think Norris is very good but unfortunately doesn't have the car to fight for podiums.

Re: 2022 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread
Poorly managed race. I actually liked who last year Abu dhabi race ended. But I think Max was in control of the race most of the time and the SC in a way hide the fact that the gap was more something like 16secs. Ferrari had wrong strategy I think but I guess they did not want risk Max to overtake C...

Re: 2022 Italian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
Excellent performance by Ferrari. It would be great if he can hold on. In 2019 Ferrari had good strategy going with harder tyre and they had the top speed to hold the Mercedes. RBR using more downforce could also play on Ferrari hands as long he gets good exit from parabolica, even if RBR has better...

Re: 2022 Dutch Grand Prix Race Thread
The VSC, SC killed all the excitement for sure. RBR always take aggressive option and it usually works for them. But it seems hard tyre was probably the best tyre and Mercedes with their car on these tracks especially got it right. The gamble with 1 stop is always that if there is VSC or SC it could...

Re: 2022 Dutch Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
In FP and also in qualifying commentators kept on saying 0.4sec to Max is ok for Perez. That is a big enough gap for at least 2 cars in between. Although I do not think it will matter much this year as he will finish at P4 at the worse and RBR could win the constructors. He should be little worried...

It was boring race as the result was decided very early on. Ferrari pace was so bad, I hope this is a one off and not sure their high downforce setup is working as they had poor tyre wear anyways. Next race I think it will be much closer. Ocon did some nice overtaking.

Pathetic performance by Mercedes. They perform better in the race but still I think P5 and P6 is most realistic option under normal circumstances. Perez gap to Max is a concern but I hope today he can win. Teams taking penalties here seems like a good decision.

I voted for Charles and Ferrari. It's a shame if the title is decided before Abu Dhabi. DNF in Spain where he was cruising, DNF in Baku and he had track position at worst he would end P2 behind Max. Some how Ferrari made him loose in Monaco and Silverstone. Stupid crash in France at worst P2 and her...

IMO Ferrari have massively underperformed in the race. I think their pace was very poor to what everyone was expecting. I think temperature played an important role. Some how RBR looked faster on a track suppose to suit Ferrari and same happened to RBR in Austria.
