Re: Budget Cap Breach Rumours
It is a disgraceful state of affairs, and I would say more so for the fans some of us who believed breaching the cap was a no, no and not a simple reprimand or a meaningless fine. If I would have known the possibility of a team being able to basically get away with breaching the cap I would have be...

Re: Budget Cap Breach Rumours
So the last big "cheating" scandal in my eyes was Spygate. Let's use that as a guide and do the same punishment. $150 million (updated from $100 million USD in 2007) and thrown out of the constructor championship (which is also a loss of money, no?) And in addition a loss of double the amount they ...

Personally I think the punishment for the salary cap breach should be as follows. This will ensure that no team transgressed this in the future knowing the sanctions are this severe. Going on the 5% that has been tosses around for red bulls overspend. 1. A 2.5% reduction in championship points for s...

This from Jman interested me? Firstly while CO2 tends to sit and accumulate in the atmosphere over long periods, water vapour does not. Just as when it evaporates from the ground or ocean, it rises, condenses into clouds and rains back down. So the H2O being emitted is not going to be around for ve...

Couple of points. Tim3003. No. The red figures won't be removed because if the driver takes another new raiment. Its another penalty for them and most likely a back of the grid start. Thing is if everyone got together and just decided to use the engines for 2/3 races and then bin all components. Ye...

How Long Does Formula 1 As A Sport Have Left???
Genuine Question. Formula E have been a sport since 2014. And now we are finnishing up season 8 within the next few weeks and months. Formula E have a contract with the FIA to be exclusive in electric motorsport for 25 years at its inception. So Formula 1 would only be able to become a electric seri...

Nordschlife style curbs around the whole circuit to define the track limits.
They are the curbs that will cause the car to bottom out and discourage the drivers from going over the curb.

If the car goes wide. They bottom out on the curbs.
Sausage curbs just don't cut it as a preventative measure to sort out track limits.

What is ot about Austria where we het so many penalties
I'm glad they are monorting track limits. But jeez. How many drivers have had black and white flags or 5 second penalties. I blame the computer generation of drivers.

Re: Should the Monaco GP stay on the calendar forever?
It's not the circuit. It's the cars.
The cars are what. 2 metres wide and 4 metres long.
Reduce the length by 150cm to 250cm long and reduce the width by 50cm to 150cm wide.

The sad thing is that Neils witich (however you spell his name) is the race director of the WEC series. A series which alot of us respect his race direction and a race director who was no nonsense and would not take any rubbish.
This would not have happened if it was le mans.
