This has to be the first year in the hybrid era that Mercedes have a genuine title contender in Ferrari and their drivers are running neck and neck in the points though? Throughout the Rosberg era the WCC and WDC was never under any threat from another team and for the last 2 years Bottas was clearl...

But what I don't understand is how his wing broke off. That was unlucky and he did reasonably well after that too. His wing broke off because the spin flat spotted his tyres leading to excessive vibration. There is a front shot showing the moment it broke off and both front and rear wings are vibra...

What I took from it was that if we have a rejuvenated Bottas with no team orders and Ferrari are already blocking Leclerc from finishing ahead of Vettel then Mercedes will very soon need to enforce their number one selection or they'll end up with Vettel beating two faster car/driver packages to the...

Looks like he's been given the boot. Shame, he came across as one of the more approachable/human Ferrari bosses and would actually engage with the media. Results speak for themselves though - they can't afford to throw away another title like last year.

One, Silverstone 2012. It was rubbish. In a 1 on 1 knockout competition I'd put my money on Lewis. All in at the start and I reckon he'd be second man down, just after Max. Winners would be Kimi and Valterri who'd just decide it was pointless, sit at the side while the others knock each other out and drink vodka.

Such an impressive season. Started out a little slow, but once he got in his groove he was incredible. I think a lot of it depends on the relative strength of the Ferrari and the Mercedes (and possibly the Red Bull). Ferrari won't be about to make the same mistake of not having a clear #1 driver if there is a close fight between the manufacturers and in that scenario even qualifying may be tainted. G...

Conspiracy theory time.
Lewis deliberately throws his final Q3 lap to get 2nd place. The plan being he slipstreams Valterri into the lead at T2 while Valterri lets him past and then backs up the pack.

According to the BBC, 'Keeping Raikkonen had been Vettel's preferred option'.
Well yes, it would be wouldn't it!
So how will Kimi react to team orders for the rest of the season now he's leaving and knows he's not got many more opportunities for a race win? It could get a little spicy.

Put Seb in the Mercedes and Lewis in the Ferrari from now on, swap the points too. There's not many out there that would bet hard cash on Seb winning the championship even from 30 points ahead. The Ferrari is clearly the car to be in, but is it good enough for Seb to beat Lewis? Seb must really hope...
