Re: Honda Supporters Tolerance
I voted three to four years. I'm not a Mclaren fan, or a Honda fan. But I think it would be crazy to go through all of this pain and reputation damage, and not give them a chance under the new engine regs. They've had to play catch up since they started. Give them a chance to see what they can do wi...

Re: F1 could introduce a driverless safety car
With the Virtual Safety Car, I don't get the point of a driverless one. Hell, I don't get the point of a safety car full stop. Just move over to the VSC. Have someone sponsor the VSC, and plaster their logos on the screen while they're rolling around the track. Brundle could even say things like "Vi...

Re: Which driver is the most gentle on their tires?
Daniel Ricciardo should get a mention here. Many of his 2014 performances came about because he displayed an excellent ability to save his tyres for a late race assault (to great effect). This year at Monaco he did much the same thing, looking after his tyres until Verstappen & Raikkonen pitted the...

I have worked in customer care so I know 6s and 7s don't count. You are only rated by your 9&10s and your lower-than-6's. So it is either a 10 or a 0. I chose zero. So.. interesting to hear people's reaction to Austria. I feel Max had the capacity to out qualify Dan judging off the practice runs and Q1/Q2. Q3 it seems as if Max was over driving the car, did Dans older wiser head prevail on this occasion to keep the car within the limits of grip? I think Dan ge...

A 6'4", 90kg man.... of terrific talent.... probably wouldn't make it in F1. To be winning in the top levels of Karts, you need to be of slight build, so it makes the path to F1 harder for anyone bigger than average. Add on the fact you need significant backing and a family that drive you to motors...

This is a hard one, there are too many factors to consider. I think about driver like Shane Van Gisbergen, who is strong in every category he races in. In an interview they asked him why he didn't follow the path to F1, because his Engineer said he had the skill set. He said at 1.88m and 99kg he alw...

Instead of segregating women, why don't we increase the teams to 3 cars each, and make the 3rd seat a mandatory women's seat? After 10 seasons, open the 3rd seat to both genders. This will give F1 10 years to: Normalise women in the main game Promote women in F1 Develop more female drivers to be pro...

TBH, and off topic sorry, I would like to see some facility that would allow a guest driver from the country holding the race, (as long as they hit they 107%) and it would make a difference to the back markers. I am strongly, strongly opposed to any scenario where the results of one race determine the starting grid for the second race. Based on interviews at the time. People, the solution is simple. I can it the "Brad System".
Everyone draws their starting position from a hat. Once drawn, they have 1 chance to trade with another driver if they wish. After 10 minutes of trade and dealing, the starting positions are revealed.
