Re: CHINA F1 RACING TEAM LIMITED
Ah, so its just prejudice, rather than you not liking them spending money on the sport. This is no different to how Mercedes re-entered the sport as a racing team. In 2010, they had no recent history of racing in F1, only in being an engine supplier to F1 teams. I'm sure you can see the difference....

Re: CHINA F1 RACING TEAM LIMITED
Those will do no nothing but buy success with tons of money and sign the best engineers for their own teams, I can see it If they can do that, more power to them. But it's not so easy as you make it sound. I'm not sure I like the idea of a state-sponsored F1 team, but it has nothing to do with fear...

Re: Criticism of Lance Stroll
Him being 18 years old is not so much of an excuse, just look at Max. You're either ready/talented for F1 or you aren't, be 18, 20 or 25 years old. Unless he improves a lot (or williams keep on willing to "sell" the seat for lots of millions and ignore the results, which is a huge mistake for a midf...

which pretty much underlines what a disaster these hybrid PUs have turned out to be. True. These engines are a disaster. Lance has 2 more F1 points than anyone complaining about him here. By that retarded logic, I am just as good a driver as Alonso this season since I have as many points as him. You haven't exploded the same number of Honda's that Fernando has. You're funny. :smug: The Williams was probably a car to ...

Re: Perez cost Force India a probable podium in Montreal!
I don't see why Perez letting Ocon by would lose time, two long straights would have been the ideal places. Perez would still have DRS as long as he was right behind Ocon, while Ocon would have DRS, a Mercedes engine, and a tyre advantage. In other words, Ocon held three advantages over Ricciardo, ...

Re: Perez cost Force India a probable podium in Montreal!
Now I re watch the race, I'm not so sure if Ocon will have managed a podium. If Perez was that close to Ricciardo all that time and within DRS and he couldn't get past, then I don't really know how Ocon could as he couldn't even get past Perez who was on older tyres. Yes, there maybe should have be...

Re: Perez cost Force India a probable podium in Montreal!
Perez may regret that. For those teams every point really does matter and they came close to hitting 3rd. That amount of points can be a few positions in a table over the year. Perez may have dented his own ambition. Nah, I dont think it will be a problem. Force India is in a very comfortable 4th p...

About fuel economy... because they all have the same fuel flux, with these F1 engines the less power you produce, the slower you go, the more time it spends consuming fuel, so pretty much, being less powerful equals to being more thirsty too

Manufacturers typically come and go, however Mercedes have stayed longer than anybody else in F1 1994-2017 so far , 23 years and now in its 8th year as a team which I believe is the joint most for any manufacturer in one stint. They also owned 30-40% of Mclaren for a long time. It would be nice for...
