Re: Height of Arrogance ??

He he, saw the 'Height of Arrogance' title and thought ah this must be the Marko thread.... Wasn't aware of Marko's background - thanks JimBox I do agree with KateLM though that Marko is a PR disaster area, he just seems totally at odds with the Red Bull image/ethos/philosophy whatever you want to ...

Shock horror, stop the presses, Red Bull manager speaks with HRT manager about an on track incident involving drivers from both teams Wrong. RBR send managers to talk to both HRT and Marussia. Which means, if the article wasn't clear enough, they meant to talk about the future and not about the pas...

Re: Height of Arrogance ??

Dear oh dear... sending messengers, sorry, managers, to the backmarkers... And announcing it to the press.

This guy's stupidity is actually hard to fathom.

Nope. You're wrong. As soon as he sees the blue flag, his rights become secondary.
I see pretty scary ideologies built on thoughts like that regarding human situations.

Play caution, please.

Re: Angry Vettel

My problem is with your attitude of yours where you dont want these slower teams racing at all and its only their responsibility to judge everything to perfection. Open your eyes and mind. Things like these are as much a part of F1 racing as anything else. It has been for decades. There are times w...

Re: Angry Vettel

Someone has posted before a barrage of video clips of other drivers supposedly misbehaving in public, but for the life of me that it is difficult to see many similarities in them. I can understand a driver giving the finger mid-race, complaining, loudly and/or angrily or doing weird things in the h...

Re: Angry Vettel

Do any of the people who are riding Vettel over insulting one driver who might have actually caused him a problem during the race, remember Hamilton calling all of the back markers monkeys before the race ever started at Monaco in '07? Maybe, if you read other people's posts, you'd find your answer...

This is the mindset of a champion. These are the words of Casey Stoner at Jerez Today. "Somebody very wise said to me 'Riders (drivers) need to be arrogant about this, because if you don't blame something else, there's nothing to blame but yourself. If you can't do it, then there's no reason to kee...

Re: Mercedes suspects Red Bull using illegal engine trick

I was at the race in Melbourne and the Red Bull engine definitely sounded different to all the others , especially in the middle of the turn 11/12 chicane where they began to pick up the throttle. Probably completely unrelated but thought I would mention it, even my dad who is not an F1 fan comment...

Re: Ferrari are just bluffing???

I thought it was widely reported by people watching at testing that the car handled like a dog. You can hide your pace by backing off/running overwieght, but you cant easily mimic bad handling. I'd love to see Alonso in the mix, but I cant quite see it based on some of the testing observations. I w...

Re: Why Did Ron DENNIS leave F1

*shaking my head* Again we see a whitewashing of scandalous actions by McLaren by "misguided" fans and again we see the conspiracy theorist coming out in numbers. McLaren has benefited by FIA & race stewards decisions at times as well as having been hurt by them, as have all top teams. This McLaren...
