Re: Favorite and least favorite Tilkedrome?

I, as well, dont consider Austin a Tilke design. He merely implemented what the other guys had laid out. I think this will likely become one of the better tracks in recent history. Turn 1 will likely go down as one of the most famous turns in racing when all is said and done. Plus, the track has 5 ...

Re: Is there an alternative to the safety car?

What I've been wondering is why they don't use a GP2/GP3 car as a safety car? One of the major complains from drivers is that the safety car is too slow, and cools tires etc. Why not have a fluorescently marked GP2 car, fitted with the required lighting systems, in it's place? Cars would still slow...

Why would you do away with it though? the only opportunity t have a production vehicle on track duri9ng a GP. I am sure the manufacturer doesn't get that cheap?

Can't see Bernie pushing to remove something he makes money out of!

I am going to go with both Mclaren drivers. Button is solid and smart, but just doesn't have the electric pace that others do. He cannot push to the same limits. I consider him a very very 'good' driver. How can someone be, as you say a, "Very Very Good Driver" and still be Bad compared to the rest...

Most enjoyable race since Rossi and Lorenzo in San Marino (whihc is probably the best ever) Vale put to bed any thoughs that he is too old, or has lost anything. Cal was brilliant and is absolutely caning that bike to keep up. But Marquez is the real deal. Everyone in the paddock knows it. He absolu...

Lets be honest. Sebastian Vettel is not going anywhere until Ferrari call. That won't happen until Alonso leaves. He is aggressive, and a bit Dick Dastardly at times, but RBR know that together with their car they are an elite team. Mark Webber is a journeyman who is #2. sometimes unfairly, but most...

I bet Alonso is the first driver out in Quali 3 for the last run.... and Massa (2nd out) bins it in the gravel at the place predetermined to take the longest to recover a car from... BAM pole position.

To be honest my bigger concern is the marshalls.

Carl Reindlers Super V8 car caught fire after a shunt this afternoon... the commentators said it took a minute and a half to get there with an extinguisher.
he may have already been out fo the car, but that is unacceptable.
