Re: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix race thread.
It happened to Merc GP for Schumi at Canada last year, but reliability issues are unlike Ferrari. Not often we see something like that. I want to know about Massa's right rear tires. Still, I think someone mentioned earlier about the front wing damage increasing the load on the rear tires and thus ...

Re: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix race thread.
Lewis was slow in the first part of the race because he was on Mediums. Merc made a mistake bolting on the mediums at the first pit stop. On the hards he was matching the top teams. Yep i just dont understand why that was done, of all the teams you would have thought Mercedes was the one that neede...

Will have to watch that again, do not know how Lewis came back into contention there? Horrible first half, amazing second half. Yeah his pace seemed noticeably better in the second half of the race. They obviously got the tyres working a lot better. Astonishing performance from Vettel. All these ex...

Re: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix race thread.
Perez beat Button squarely, started behind him, yet ..... Button requested to pit as earlier as possible so Perez could not undercut him again. Perez stayed out and stopped one time less. Jenson could not manage the tyre for that last stint. Perez was already on his gearbox, and he tried to use the...

Vettel easily, he had to fight earlier on, and never put a foot, sorry, tyre wrong. Honourable mention goes to DiResta, Perez, Hamilton and Alonso. I forgot to mention Button, for asking the team to calm Perez down, priceless. All in all, a very entertaining race. Perez was clearly faster i sort of...

Re: Driver of the race - Bahrain 2013?
Hamilton drove a great race, although the first part was pretty blunt. He was also too cautious at start in T1, he lost some good positions there because he didn't put his car further although there was some space. Did I heard right that he made 1 stint on used medium tyres? But the last 2 stints w...

Re: Wrap 2013 up Vettel will have his 4th!
Vettel looks strong for the WDC but thats no real surprise, however unlike other seasons i dont believe he has a dominant car and i think both Alonso and Kimi are still very much in with a chance of beating him, its only 4 races into the season and Vettel only has a 10 point lead.

I have to say, I need to give a shout out to Charles Pic. A fantastic lap in the Caterham and he was .9 tenths up on the highly regarded Bianchi. Well I'm looking at max 6th place for Button Even though h may start on the harder compound, McLaren are not great in race trim. Senna didn't do much worse than Maldonado last year. Take out Maldonado's win, which although impressive appears to be a one off, then Senna would have trounced him. Senna was far more consistent if steady. He would have been a good bet for Caterham IMO simply for his experiance compared with Pic a...

He already is one. Every year that he has had a car with a sniff of a title in it he's been in contention in the final round, and against significantly tougher opposition than Schumacher faced for most of the time. It's always easier to look back in retrospect on a retired driver and declare him to...

Alonso and Hamilton are just playing mind games. It doesn't affect Vettel, so it isn't of much import other than it makes them look a bit silly...

I think Chilton's dad owns Marussia or is a part owner?
Anyway that being the case if Senna had signed for Marussia then it would be Bianchi with no drive, so its good for F1 that he left.
