It's F1, it's always been like this, teams have up and downs, sometimes they last many years.

So Grosjean would beat him, despite that Grosjean lost twice to his, at least according to the seeming consensus here, on-par-with-Massa team mate where Bottas beat Massa, and despite Bottas taking 6 podiums in a non race-winning car to Grosjeans 6 podiums in a race-winning car (0-2-4 vs 0-1-5 at t...

Re: Horner: Nothing will change in 2015
One team dominating in F1 is not interesting for a whole. Hamilton winning will be great for GB but eventually new fans from Germany, Brazil, and all over the world will diminish, and F1 needs to juggle that interest so the sport can keep going. They already have a hard time with how expensive watc...

You said Alonso doesn't like to take up the challenge of a competitive teammate. Yet he took up the challenge of Kimi (a competitive teammate) and completely destroyed him, without thowing his toys out of the pram. Missed the point again. A competitive team mate is one who can challenge his team ma...

Jomox doesn't understand the difference between reputation and success. I think the people on this forum would have a better knowledge than the average F1 fan, and I believe that people will look back on stats most of the time if they are trying to see if a drivers good or not. His rep has gone downhill since he joined Ferrari. Coming back of 2 World Championships, then failing to win another against a rookie. Generally his time at Ferrari was a fail, that 's how it is seen. Your success is based on the championships won with your teams, and that number is a big fat 0 at F...

Re: Bottas. Overrated?
Like said one sided excuses to put simple.
Bottas 4th, Massa 7th. And it's not just the standings. Like said I'd suggest to actually watch the races again and not pick out little things to suit Massa, when in reality things where different on race day over the course of the full season.

Agree that he's a touch overrated. With the car he had, he should have been fighting Ricciardo for 3rd place in the championship. This. It's amazing how many people lump him in with Dan. Daniel proved himself by beating a very strong teammate and winning races in a car that was not the best. Bottas...

People have short memories so mostly remember stuff that happens in the last races. I think its quite possible. He held a 17 point lead by having 1 more DNF and two more back row starts. If you switch it from Hamilton having 1 more, to one less. That is added 2 DNFs to Nico (potentially 50 points) thats before even considering the back row starts. Just look at the first 5 races, r...

Absolutely gutted for Nico. I don't care what anyone says about what happened throughout the season. A championship shouldn't be decided by reliability. 11-6 wins I believe . Even reliability issues. Agreed. It's difficult to see why he's attracting the hatred he is. He hasn't been around long enough to cause that much controversy. It's maybe the fact that Mattiacci praised Kimi a number of times throughout the season and hasn't said a word about Alonso since the week he came on board. The tifo...
