Re: 21 Race F1 2018 Calendar (1st Triple Header)
As far as I am concerned, the only circuits that should host the opening and closing rounds are Australia and Brazil. In fact, I dont care what order. 22 Races is the maximum imo. I would prefer a shorter close season. 4 months is far too long. Other sports get away with it, but in F1 NOTHING at al...

Time to axe this shambolic race.

What he is doing is well within the rules, and up to him.
But for me, the drinks bottle should be mandatory. Not only that, it should be kept cool. Somehow.

Re: Are these new 2017 cars a complete failure?
I wouldn't call them a complete failure, but so far they have mostly failed to achieve what they set out to achieve (2 or 3 second faster laps) while delivering the negative aspects as predicted (less overtaking). So not exactly a success either. As others have already said, the fact that Ferrari a...

I am not against them changing the format. Its been the same for decades it seems. Qualifying as a format is as good as it gets. was there 3 different types of wet tyre when Goodyear were the sole tyre suppliers in the 90s?
Or did I just imagine it?
Inters, Wet, 'monsoon'.
Alot has been made of the current wet tyres, but cars always aquaplaned.

At the moment, Williams seem to be slipping down the grid again after a great 2014 (by their recent standards).
McLaren and Force India have better drivers.
Car wise, not much in it.

Should add that the manufacturers have to supply one private team only with an engine.
A 'draw' to take place to determine what private team gets what engine.
Williams - Toyota,
McLaren - Ferrari
Force India - Renault

Walls? on a street circuit? whatever next?
Although there are some areas of it that look incredibly narrow. Around the castle for example.
Will be interesting.
And as for Pirelli, if the tyres cannot handle the long straights, thats their problem and their failure.

In seasons 2008 and 2009, every single team either won a race or a pole position (except Williams) Very competitive seasons, then in 2010 they added the 3 new teams who were all beyond rubbish.
