That was a good q3 that. A shame Sainz is so out of position. Great from Norris. I think the talk of Mercedes being more off the pace yesterday was premature. They’re basically where they were in Bahrain and Saudi. I think Merc reaped the rewards of hiring two very quick drivers today. I think they...

That's insane I struggle to tell if this is sarcasm or not. I personally think this is very weak. What about 2016 for Mercedes best chassis? They were slower than Red Bull in Monaco but had the advantage in Hungary and Singapore where the engine is less important. I admit that 2014 and 2016 were in the grey area, although it should be noted that engine power plays a significant role even around...

Re: Why have Mercedes dropped the ball?
I wouldn't rule out Mercedes being at the front come the last third of the season. I think it'll be too late for 2022 mind you - however the car has a far higher ceiling than its showing. I basically agree with this. If I could, I’d put money on Russell for the 2023 WDC now. I am glad you cannot. I...

Re: Why have Mercedes dropped the ball?
1.The Overrated Mercedes Chassis I truly believe that the vast majority of Mercedes' advantage relative to Red Bull and Ferrari from 2014-2017 and 2019-2021 came from the engine, not the chassis. The only exceptions are 2018 and 2019. In 2018, Hamilton simply outclassed Vettel. In 2019, Ferrari had...

I was reading before that current rules allow for 24 races next year. We currently have 22 races taking place this year. Next year we will add Qatar, Las Vegas and China, taking us to 25. So, either a current race will lose its spot on the calendar or the rules will have to change. Ben Hunt is repor...

I’m guessing Ferrari might be better in Australia.
