Re: Jenson vs Kimi?
Kimi and Jensen would be great on the same team! But, Kimi would be faster. He just seems hungrier. I'm a fan of both of them but Jensen seems "safer" than Kimi. It seems that drivers who are prepared to push just a bit over the edge either do very well or are reckless disasters. Kimi seem...

I don't think so, I agree that they're all fighting for every position.
Imagine the scandal and conspiracy calls if it appears one of the torro rosso or ferrari engine cars does change the outcome of the race! I can't wait!

How will Schumi's last race be? Drama or not?
I bet the group will be pretty split on this one. Some expect him to cause some sort of drama or lose his cool.
I hate to say it, but I expect Schumi to have an uneventful boring race in Brazil. Just a Sunday drive, a safe mid-pack cruise.

Great thread. I also get excited and lean forward. My wife used to talk to me (drives me nuts as she has this knack for always talking at the exactly wrong moment) but I finally have made her understand that she is forbidden from speaking at the start of an F1 race. Ha ha ha. Hope she never reads th...

Re: Racing Colours, what happened to them?
I regret you can't see much of the car numbers on todays F1 cars. In the past it was so easy to see the number so I knew immediately whose car was shown. Today I cannot always tell who is who just by the helmet. Helmet designs of the drivers change also much more than in the past. In the past they ...

This is a pinnacle sport. Reaching out in every sense possible is part of the game. Teams must push every advantage they can. The FIA must watch carefully, interpret and rule on whether or not things that are new, and that have never previously been defined as illegal are permitted. It's as simple a...

Re: Will Webber be on podium in Texas?
If the rumours are true - no. He (Webber) may be starting from the back of the grid for missing his weigh in. Just saw this also. I guess this is further proof of my inability to predict race results. If he does get sent to the back, he's done. It sure would be interesting to see how Mark does from...

Will Webber be on podium in Texas?
I'm a fan of Webber but last week was a disaster for him and I was thinking about the pressure he must be under to perform this weekend. Mark sometimes seems to react to pressure with a good showing like his famous "how was that from the #2 driver performance." The RB's certainly seem to h...

Being a huge NASCAR fan, Gordon and Bowyer have had several on-track incidents this year, most of which ended up with Gordon getting the worst end of the deal. He was just fed up, but clearly overreacted. NASCAR race control then butchered the finish because they left the green flag out with a bunc...

Voted for Webber. As for Rosberg and Karthikeyan's case. Its hard to call. Karthikeyan's car suddenly slowed down and halted and of course with a tailing Rosberg, he cound not react on time this it wasn't Rosberg fault at al. I agree and don't think Nico had a chance. Racing incident for sure. Luck...

Do any of you know if driver contracts have stipulations for public behaviour? I am pretty sure they do in hockey and nascar but don't know about F1. I don't think there's any need to over-react. Such things happen on live TV sometimes. The drivers will be given a reminder not to do it next time, and that's all there is to it. What you say is very sensible, and I admit that is what I'd like to see. But, I wonder who pulls the strings about this....

The FIA has to do something in response to appease advertisers and TV networks. Yes I know I can hear the same language on television every day, but those are usually private programs. I think the lads are going to get a reprimand, probably financial.

He drove brilliant really. But it's still a long way to go to the title. Ferrari / Alonso are very close and they still have a real chance at the championship. Redbull cars needs to be bulletproof from a reliability point of view and Vettel keep on winning. As Grosjean took out Alonso, someone or s...
