I say F1 is about "Top Performance." The words apply to all of the aspects.

The things that bug me about F1 are things that challenge the concept of top performance. Things like politics, team orders, cheating, etc.

I'd like to see the DRS use limited to X times per race as you suggest, very cool idea. The aero problem meant we needed it, but this year I'd love to see what would happen if it was somehow modified. I don't want to see it go away altogether though. Interesting points. I would love to see what it would be like with KERS but no DRS on the current tyres. We can speculate forever on this, it's kind of fun to think about.

I rated it a 7 because I was disappointed that Alonso's wing failed and that Seb was driving away so early. I know mechanical problems like the wing problem are part of the game, but I hate it when stuff like that changes (I think, speculation I admit) the result materially. Enjoyed it though!

I'm with the nay-sayers. I remember the boring pit stop passing era and dread going back there. Also, so many accidents happened and race outcomes were changed so often due to fuel rig problems, I hate it when that sort of peripheral stuff would take out or marginalize a great driver or team.

I am happy to hear about this. Let's watch to see what if any WDC implications this causes as the season goes along. It is also fascinating for them to admit so forwardly that they don't have control over their drivers. Lets see what Webbo can do now!!

I don't think anyone from the present grid.

I would LOVE to see Hammy, Alonso and Kimi and Seb in the same car though! If I had to pick one, I'd also side with Alonso. I'd put Hammy 2nd and Kimi 3rd but it wouldn't surprise me if Kimi could surprise us.
