Re: Pre-Russian Grand Prix Thread
My Podium prediction is 1/ Bottas 2/ Someone else 3/ Someone else Anyway, I can never tell where they are on track except the long left and the first chicaney right-left. There seem to be pretty much zero kerbing in there so cutting it is no problem. Very small kerbs everywhere according to an inter...

Re: What has happened at Williams?
Speaking of which, I bet Martini are pretty happy with their decision to sponsor Williams. Considering their position last year, I'm guessing it might be one of the most 'bang for your buck' sponsor deals in F1? Hope so and I hope they stay. Amazing classic livery. Yeah, I love it. Bought a white t...

Re: Vettel leaves RBR, for Ferrari? Kyvat replaces in 2015
If Vettel does go to Ferrari I think it might be good news for both him and Kimi no matter which one of them comes out on top in the end, they probably have a lot more common in terms of driving style from what I've heard about them, sharp front end and all that, compared to their current team mates...

Re: The First ePRiX EVER of Beijing - RACE THREAD
Oh dear, what is wrong with the organizers behind this? Do they think it's Wipeout 2097 or something? I'm waiting to hear someone yell MISSILE! at any point. Except the music in Wipeout was actually better than this amateur hour crap. Anyway, first polesitter: Prost; First driver to crash: Sen...

Gasly weaving into Markelow on the back straight after Ascari, really bad move.
Canamasas tops him though, haha, what the hell? And there's his black flag.

Also that shot of him going through a corner with the inner front tire in the gutter was sexy as hell.

Re: Williams vs. Red Bull at Spa
While I think Bottas is the better driver, Massa had a piece of Hamilton's tire stuck under his car for his first two stints in this particular race, according to him/Williams. He's not that bad.

Re: Hamilton-Rosberg Belgium 2014 Incident Thread (renamed)
I think the reaction to this incident is completely out of proportion, from fans and Merc management as well. One day Merc say they're surprised people expect them to employ team orders, the next they go ballistic when their drivers race and it goes slightly wrong. Yes, very wrong as it happens, but...

Additionally, it's Ocon's third season in cars whereas Verstappen had only raced karts before this year. Also, Ocon is a Lotus junior already, so if they want to stick him in their car they should go right ahead, can't do worse than Maldonado. Jolyon Palmer can spit all the feathers he likes, leadin...

Great fight for the win in the feature race today, congrats to Marciello on his first GP2 win. Great wet drives by both him and Vandoorne, 30 seconds ahead of 3d place.

Looks like he's pretty much back on the track before somehow being pulled onto the grass again and then loses control. At the kink before Pouhon.

I also don't get this idea that the young driver program is some kind of line to stand in and everyone gets their turn to have a go, and that moving someone past other drivers in the cue would somehow undermine it. Of course they're going to put whoever they think shows the most promise in the car. ...

I really don't get the negativity against this guy based on nothing but how old he is. Frankly I find it rather sad. I bet most of the people dismissing him haven't even watched him race in F3. From what I've seen he isn't one to get into silly incidents at all. I agree completely with Marcus Simmon...

Re: GP2/GP3/FR3.5 2014 Thread
Yeah, impressive weekend by Verstappen again, handled difficult conditions well in race 1 and finally got past Fuoco who didn't leave him a lot of room for most of race 3. Too bad for the championship that his engine died in race 2, would've been more interesting if he was closer to Ocon before the ...

Re: Do we have a full scandinavian set ?
Finland is not Scandinavian, but a Nordic Country. Same thing with Iceland. Norway is though, so we don't. It's cool that we have so many drivers on the grid now, though. Too bad Mag couldn't keep that Oz form up, or perhaps his car couldn't. I'd be surprised if Ericsson is still around if a Norwegi...

Bottas is looking like the driver I'll support in the near future, been rooting for him on the side since last year even though the Williams sucked. Was great seeing him finish 2nd at Hockenheim where I was at Süd A at the last two corners. Too bad with the terrible SC timing for him in Hungary afte...

Re: GP2/GP3/FR3.5 2014 Thread
So Max Verstappen took his second triple win in a row today at Norisring in Euro F3, the previous triple he took at Spa which offered some fantastically exciting races, action on the Kemmel straight pretty much every lap. Almost had more fun watching those than the Austrian GP. Pretty impressive con...
