FIA Girls On Track final 4 (Julia Ayoub, Antonella Bassani, Doriane Pin, Maya Weug) are at Maranello this week to complete the process. Based on absolutely nothing I think it will be Pin. Not sure about this though: https://racer.com/2021/01/12/social-media-influencer-brewer-partnering-with-sbrs/ Ma...

Re: Who ruined Williams?

So wen do you feel the decline actually started? They were 3rd in the WCC in '14-'15 which seems a long time ago now. Since winning in '97 they had been a bit up and down but were 2nd in '02 and '03. So in terms of a continuing decline I guess you have to go from '16 but their points haul has been o...

Re: Who ruined Williams?

I wouldn't single out an individual but I do wonder what people think the key events and decisions are that led to their downfall. Would be interesting to plot their WCC position against these events. Perhaps plot out by year their Engine, driver, line-up, Management, Aero Designer, and WCC position...

Re: 2021 - Exciting lineup & intra-team battles!

There's some interesting battles ahead for sure. Mercedes - Bottas 3.0, 4.0, 4.1 - they're all the same. Meh. Red Bull , well Perez will annoy Verstappen on occasion and do a good job for the team, but it will still ultimately go to the golden boy. Then things get more interesting. Renault: Alonso s...

Just saw the news on Sidorkova. It's a good step as she's done national F4 but has also dipped into Rally and tin-tops. She did Spanish F4 in 2019 along with other W series drivers Nerea Marti and Belen Garcia. Between them they pretty much filled the bottom of the table.

I see the Montoya/Ralf comparisons a lot like the Kubica/Heidfeld comparison. I rate Montoya pretty high so I certainly think that fact that Ralf was clos...
