Re: Bernie back on the table about New Jersey
I feel for those of you in the northeastern US, but this reeks of a money grab by Ecclestone, as always. Perhaps one last hoorah before it's coitenz for him is my gut feeling.

Re: Will Hamilton Win Up to 14 races in 2015?
Hard to tell with all the possibilities in the way of equipment failures, fumbles in the pits, wrong strategy calls, incidental contact which is always a possibility, bobbles which can lead to damage. We've seen Brakes give out, sometimes obliterate without prior warning and though quite rare the la...

Re: Nico 2014 - "I strongly dislike coming second to Lewis"
So if I hear what you guys are saying, Lewis is simply faster in Quali (with race never in doubt from last year) and that Nico will always be on the back foot keeping up, regardless how much he hates losing to Lewis. So despite needing to win in Canada, it was almost a lost cause? Wow that's a lot ...

Re: What can be done about lift and coast...?
What if ALL teams and drivers told the FIA to stick it and run the exact same amount of fuel over the limit and go over the fuel flow limit identically as well? The teams have the power to do this and make a better and more exciting, yet level playing field. They won't disqualify every team and it w...

Re: The F1 you used to love?
What I want is a return to the most efficient Aero period. Not the most efficient around an impractical set of rules to try and help those who's own aero is lacking. As we've seen, the ploy to allow trailing cars to follow more closely never transpired and as it always was, only the very best can ma...

Re: Plans for refueling in 2017 to be dropped
As well, think back to Hulkenbergs sole Pole Position and how exciting it was. That was only possible thanks to fuel strategies, regardless of how superficial it was. It was a great moment for us fans and even more so for Williams. Ekhm, Hulkenberg was on pole position in 2010, first season since 1...

Re: Plans for refueling in 2017 to be dropped
You guys saying it was no good to begin with aren't seeing the big picture. Let's go back to the refueling era and think for a moment of the commercial exposure for sponsors in F1 and how the little teams and their sponsors rarely receive any. What refueling can provide is a means by which some of t...

Not a very good interview or writeup if you ask me but at least it provides some insight as to life as a Villeneuve and it seems like in dad's life it was all about dad.

Re: It was always about money - Bourdais
As a fairly new fan, since 2008, to me Monaco is more about the challenge of the circuit to the drivers than the racing action. More of an 'All-Star' event if you like, unique to the season. I think it's often underplayed just how much accuracy and consistency (and bottle) is required to drive the ...

Re: Honda engine upgrade.
These days engine mapping can be used to easily make engines more drivable.
What is more important for all engine manufacturers is low end torque and quickness being as once they get into the higher revs they are all quite comparable.

Re: BERNIE: We must stop asking opinions...
What I haven't seen mentioned here is that either way it is a democracy/decision by committee. If FOM comes up with another grand ole cockamamie idea Todt should support it and if Todt comes up with a brain scheme FOM should support it… Sounds like more of the same. What has to happen is that a comm...

Re: customer cars?
F1's 'manufacturer' exclusivity is pricing itself out of the world of fiscal reality. The 'Golden Years' of F1 had customers participating with varying levels of success - sometimes beating whom they got their chassis from. Strange when you consider it. All but Ferrari and Merc are using customer e...
