I popped in to see what was up in the Vettel/Leclerc thread and it's all about Max/Pierre, lol. I'm doing this year mostly in solitude, but good to see things are still lively.

Re: Appropriate penalty for Max's actions?
Verstappen is a fantastic driving talent, but a terrible personality. His attitude will cost him a title before his talent wins him one. That is why he has to learn to cool his jets. It is quite eyebrow raising to see him going all off on Ocon considering all the 'close calls' he's had wi...

There is no defending Ocon, imo. You don't risky-race the leader to unlap yourself. That was just dumb. Max is catching up tho.

Congrats to Dan.
Sorry Max - although happy to put Brundle's nose out of joint! haha! good stuff!
Not sure how that will play out tomorrow for the Red Bulls - chased from behind and fighting for the lead.
Vet and Ham together off the line...perhaps the fighting front row will give them the advantage.

Martin Brundle is being a complete jerk. I mean, he finds a way to blame Vettel for every thing that happens on track. Claiming he is not beating up on him, but he is doing just that. There is no way the overly dramatic and emotional Hamilton would have preservered even as long as Vettel once it was clear that the Merc was so much stronger. Anyone could have one in the Merc, so yes in that car. He may have made fewer mistakes in 5he a Ferrari, and been more challenging, but could not have won based on its season ending performance. In any other car no.

Vettel has never had a helpful teammate while going for a championship. Yet he has always had a slow teammate. Vettel has never had a helpful teammate while going for a championship. I don't think he wants that now either. It is impossible to say. They aren't Merc, so it isn't going in with team orders on the table, but if it allows him to mathematically stay in it, then I'm sure that would happen.
