Keep sniffing HRH glue fumes. The only thing I see from the current F1 teams is FEAR. FEAR! FEAR! Fear that someone will be 'stealing' their money, despite the entry fees Andretti will be paying. If they featured Andretti would be another Manor or Haas ie. non-competitive they would take the money a...

The US has hosted three races in the past (1982, Detroit, Long Beach AND Las Vegas). I recall at the time it was an experiment to see if the audience for F! would grow in the US. Bottom line, it didn't. And I doubt that three races in the US in 2023 will be any different. Ten years from now, the on...

Incompetent male drivers don't wear the 'Hit Me' sign when they go on track. Female drivers do - until they hit back. Unfortunately the odds are normally 20 or 40 to 1 against the female.

Re: Andretti Cadillac

My understanding is that F1 is 'authorized' to have 13 two car teams. The FIA payouts should be based on division by 13. If there are less than 13 teams, the share for the missing teams goes into an escrow account that will return to the FIA after 10 or more years without having the fully authorized...

In normal road driving I have come across certain forms of pavement where very little spray is generated at highway speeds (not racing speeds); also other forms of pavement generate copious amounts of spray. I have no idea if low spray pavement would hold up under the stresses of current race rubber...

Ban Tire Warmers.

The best drivers will get the most speed out of cold tires and pass those that can't handle the situation until the tires get up to proper operating temperatures.

Might be a stupid question but what will the performance difference be? I haven't looked into it yet... I don't know, but I guess the much smaller sidewall means they will be a lot stiffer. I assume the cars will maybe need more suspension travel to cope with hitting kerbs as an awful lot of that i...

It is not possible to really compare drivers of different era. With all respect to Fangio, he could not get his body into and out of one of todays F1 cars. By the same token today's F1 drivers would have to be physically larger do deal with the F1 cars of the 50's - each era has its own issues that ...
