Re: Indycar at Toronto
This was a brutal day of racing. The weather was very hot and humid, that alone is something no one wants to go through. The track is still bumpy and with those walls, one a driver must adjust to every corner. Even though it had more than it's fair share of chaos and cautions, I love this kind of s...

Re: Anyone in US have trouble watching the race
I had to go far and wide to the subreddits of the internet, before I finally found a way to watch the race, I was so excited when ESPN messed up Australia and decided to run Ad free all year, but they tell me its on ABC this week and when I open it I get some parade instead. Really hoping this does...

Beyond the driver of MB, Ferrari and Red Bull, I suspect that Alonso is the only other driver that gets paid.

Re: F1 needs faster safety cars!
There's too many accidents because of "cool" tires. Most other racing series in the WORLD deal with COLD tires - I thought F1 drivers were supposed to be the best in the world and they can't deal with 'cool' tires. Give me a F'n break. F1 should do away with tire warmers if they are serious about t...

Re: Tire/Pit Stop Rules
I wondered aloud during the last race why we can't just have one type of tyre. If we only had one tyre type that could last the 200 miles of the race then we wouldn't need the 21 or more mechanics and their uniforms and equipment that come out for tire changes with 2 second pit stops. Then we would...

Re: F1 needs faster safety cars!
I thought of this during the last race as well. Mercedes may want their road car leading the pack for marketing reasons, but it's just not fast enough to keep heat in the tyres of the F1 cars. Maybe a proper GT variant? What is the purpose of the SC? To turn laps comparable to the racing cars? NFW!...

Re: FIA seeking how to get more overtaking.
Want more overtaking - devise aero regulations that promote 'clean air' coming off the rear of a leading car so that the following car doesn't lose significant down force on their front wing. If competitors can run closer together, the opportunities to pass increase geometrically.

Hooking your star to ESPN and Disney/ABC while they have declining viewership and revenues and ESPN especially throughout the past year or more has been reducing workforce (in front and behind the cameras) and payroll. Not good to sign up with a shrinking organization.
