Are we really going there? Okey....
Alonso is talented but way overrated
Vettel better than Hamilton
Ricciardo better that Alonso
Kimi still has it.
Honda will be fast soon

Re: Too fast
What G forces are being generated??? I remember seeing 4.something G's on some onboards. I think speed and downforce increases difficulty, not the other way around. A corner at 3G and a bit of sliding is easier than the same corner at 4G flat, less marging for error. How many spins have we seen thi...

Re: Alonso not ruling out Williams
So we can say then that his options are: (In order) Renault - if they keep the improvement but they can have breakdowns McLaren - He runs the risk of more of the same if nothing changes but is still a top team. - are they?? Force India - Force One?? - Strong midfield team, Merc power so he will fini...

Re: Alonso not ruling out Williams
Alonso has made clear he wants to fight for a WDC. What's the point of going to Williams or even FI? If he was content with getting good points and the occasional podium/win, he could have stayed with Ferrari. At Williams or FI, he isn't going to find more than what he had at Ferrari. The only thin...

Yeah he clearly meant if he can't compete for wins in F1 he'l go to WEC or IndyCar so either way he'll be competing for wins. Perez has an Ego problem, last few races Ocon has been close if not faster than him, this is bad for Perez, being beat by a rookie, Force India has a new top driver and its not Perez.

So, he has another year. I like the guy but really don't like the thought of another year of Ferrari preventing their drivers from racing. We don't need that at the front. Re: F1 could introduce a driverless safety car
Trying to solve a problem that is not there, if the problem is that the safety car is a bit too slow on some cases, just convert a soon to be retired DTM Merc to handle a passenger and call it a day, that way pace can be controlled better (faster or slower) without the driver having to be driving at...

It's all going to go there in my lifetime. UK has been new petrol & diesel car sales from 2040 onwards, I believe some other countries are being even more aggressive than this. Have they released rough 2021 engine regs yet? I heard Ross Brawn in n interview saying that they were wanting to move away from the current hybrid's (which I think is a mistake anyway). One thing Cosworth said would have to go was the generator on the turbo. Does anyone know roughly how much energy is recoverd from the MGU-H? I agree the MGUK needs to go, too complicated, too expensive. I will guess any energy recovery lost or deployment lost could be gained back on making the MGU...

We might be missing an important detail, what type of bulb is F1 using. A normal traffic light has a delay anywhere from .100s to .300s from when voltage arrives and the bulb gets to a temperature where it starts emiting light. On LED lights this time is the nanoseconds range, this is why some new L...

Alonso won't go to Ferrari but I wouldn't be surprised to see him alongside Hamilton next season! The bets will then be on for how long we have to wait before they start behaving in the same way Prost and Senna did at McLaren in 1998. He'll go there if they take him back, which itself is doubtful. ...

Looking at the race again, Ocon lost a lot of time to Perez when Seb got by, Seb made a mistake later that allowed Ocon to get closer to him, but once the Ferrari was past Perez, the quickness on which Ocon was again in Perez gearbox was impressive, Ocon was very fast and if allowed Daniel would hav...

Ocon - Perez held him back today, preventing a possible fight for 3rd placed, even if he stayed in 4th place, that in my opinion would have madee him a clear driver of the day. Vettel - Great comeback Hamilton - Super fast today but lonely race, too "easy" for him today to give him driver of the day.
