Re: FIA answer to Vettel breaking 22.5 Rule (steering wheel)
So all your upset-ness is based on that they didn't penalise him just because it was Vettel? What evidence is there to support this enough for you to email angry letters to the FIA? you've got the cart before the horse here.... What part of "sent Monday morning, Oct. 2nd the day after the rac...

I see, you assumed it was someone else... some "PR clown".. He/she was a nice person to you, as I can see. Doing his/her job in good manner. And was the answer up to what you wanted to hear, would he/she still be a clown? Btw., I found your second question, When, if it is, can we expect to hear of ...

The answer I received above was from some PR clown for the FIA You received a prompt answer, have been treated with respect. For example, who is going to watch the Petit LeMans this weekend? Because for me, Formula One definitely takes a back seat to IMSA. I managed to buy a book by Mr Matchett. It turned out to be the wrong one. But, as I understand, the "right" book also leaves me wanting on the information I seek. None of this whole silly discussion brings us closer to the answer whether Mr Matchett's view, that it was illegal to take a wrecked ca...

Re: vettel/stroll. what the he'll happened there.
Vettel did not replace his steering wheel of his stricken car; a violation of FIA rules. Might be the rule is in place only during an official session? The race was over at that point. I think the rule is so track workers can move the car if needed. I dont think that would be an issue in this case ...

Re: vettel/stroll. what the he'll happened there.
From the aerial view shown on NBCSN, Stroll moved right almost as if he didn't realize Vettel was there. It's a long hot race, high speed lots of "Gs" and dehydration, which I suspect could cause a lack of concentration. IMHO, Vettel was probably the same state of exhaustion (he ran the Super Softs ...
