We've not even had a provisional starting grid published yet, which by regulation should have been at least four hours before the start of the formation lap. The final grid is meant to be published one hour before the start of the formation lap (so by 16:00 local) #F1 #QatarGP

Verstappen not only failed to lift he went quicker.

As in previous events he should get a grid penalty without a shadow of doubt but who knows with these stewards who happen to be the same as in Brazil.

Tbf, that double waved yellow is easy to miss. You'll not be looking there as a driver. However it is there.... And he has driven through it. Was there a mix of info between the coms, lights, steering wheel display and marshall? The light opposite the marshal post is green, so can see why confusion...

Like many, I also believe that no penalty will be given, cause...reasons?! They will find something to get away on technicality, like marshal waved the flag by mistake, it was not intended, it did not show in the FIA control monitor, etc... If that happens and Max wins from P2 then its not unreason...
