That wing has been done to death now. There was one new-spec wing left, Vettel expressed a particular preference for the new wing, Webber said he had no preference. Re: Webber's Legacy
Had Red Bull fully backed him in 2010, he should have won. Had he won the WDC that year, and then backed him as far as car development for 2011, then who knows where he could have gotten to. He might have won 2 WDCs. Unfortunately he will be remembered a a good by probably not great no 2 driver, wh...

Re: Webber's Legacy
I don't really think we need to do Webber v Vettel for the millionth time. Vettel was the better driver, although his margins over Webber on the Bridgestone tyres weren't as big as some people like to imply. Having said that, Webber generally made Vettel work harder for it than Raikkonen currently is.

Re: Webber's Legacy
To me Webber summed his legacy in his book. He wasnt the most talented driver of his era but he was able to get the absolute maximum out the talent he had, which is an achievement in itself. Very good way of putting it really. Considering he never set the world on fire in his junior championships t...

Re: Webber's Legacy
Considering, lets be honest, Mark was never a top driver, his performance against Vettel in 09-10 was actually very good. Its not exactly clear if that was him over performing or Vettel underperforming, but come 2011 Vettel generally had moved well ahead, although 2012 certainly didn't go all Seb's ...

Alonso gives McLaren an ultimatum apparently ... if you believe the gossip ;-) http://readmotorsport.com/2015/10/03/alonso-makes-ultimatum-mclaren Sounds like the type of ultimatums Alonso's team comes up with. I am convinced that is how he lost his Ferrari drive - over playing his hand under the g...

Apart from 2014 ;) Its just frustrating from someone who wants to see Vettel against a team mate who has a chance of beating him. Another season vs Kimi Raikkonen, how exciting :uhoh: Being fair Kimi is good just not as good as Vettel. Seems unfair that Vettel can thrash a team mate who has a histo...

Alonso has beaten Button every race hasn't he? I'm not aware that Button has finished ahead all season. No, that's true - in two-car finishes Alonso is ahead 4-0. However the actual post referred to being faster, and Button has looked faster at times - not often - well matched at times - reasonably...

I've been thinking about this and I think that Red Bull don't actually want Mercedes engines. Red Bull's position has always been it has the best chassis, the best aero, the best car and is able to make up for an underpowered engine. The Mercedes engine is undoubtedly the best on the grid (although...

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2015 Japanese Grand Prix
Hamilton's only ever had 2 cars that should win the championship, and he looks set to win them both of those years. I don't think there is much argument for Vettel having less competitive machinery overall, considering the RB5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 were all title capable cars. Really? The 2007 McLaren def...

Verstappen for me. Once again looked feisty and aggressive. Max looks the brightest prospect since Lewis. Promotion to Red Bull-Ferrari/Audi in 2017 is mouth-watering. Really? He's started working a lot for f1.com, so I wonder if that has toned back his weekly show.
it never got a great deal of views anyway so it was a lot of effort for him for like 5000 views.

He'll want to win.
41 points over Rosberg is still a comfortable margin, but you don't want to let it reduce to the point a DNF can even things right up.

Of the rest of the grid, Kimi's still at or near the top. 2017 could end up looking a good deal different, of course. Generally the drivers that get votes are the ones that stand out. Drivers like Sainz and Rossi did something to make them stand out and therefore a reason to vote for them.
