Re: The Official Football Thread
When a refs assistant holds up the board showing how much time, it indicates the minimum time that will be added. Any issues during the shown added time are judged by the ref in case more time is needed. As already said, some things are fixed, others are discretionary.

Re: Official 2015/16 Formula E thread
If you had all read my post which was just two posts after I said 'I can't see any interest', it makes things pretty damn clear.
People pick up on one post and ignore one straight after it. I can't help that.
I'm fact Covalent, it was a response to you....

Yes, surely significantly upsides remote control cars would be more entertaining. About the size of a Go Kart but looking like a proper single seater.

My point is that I can't see any interest in cars racing without human input. What's the point? Radio Control car racing is more interesting because there is human input which can lead to mistakes. If a mistake is made in AI controlled cars, it's down to a programming error! How exciting!

Lord of the Rings was hyped but was amazing, all three of the films. JJ's Star Trek films are brilliant imo, therefore I expect to be equally impressed with the new Star Wars. Hype is sometimes misplaced, but at least the trailers have gone down well it seems. So far, no Jar Jar Binks replacement ha...

Re: Is it time for the end of F1?
F1 simply needs to remove the need to be the most technically advanced formula and replace that with the need for the best drivers in the world fighting it out in fast, but tricky cars. I have never watched F1 thinking how lucky it was that they had all those electronic gadgets and fiddly aero bits....

I initially thought this was a joke thread, but it seems not. Vettel's not the first driver with a puncture or damage to cut corners and I daresay he won't be the last. I should have thought the priority for any driver in such circumstances would be to get back to the pits as quickly as possible wh...

Tilke bashing is boring. He does not decide where a circuit is built. He does not decide on the track having to have extensive run off areas, he does not decide ANY safety features. It's not just Prema. I'm not sure what the fuss is about either as this has to be one of the most irrelevant of rule infringements ever!
