Nice to see you playing up Mercedes to ensure Max is seen as a miracle worker. Again. Red Bull have the fastest car until clearly proven otherwise. Mercedes look marginally faster to me. It will take an absolute banzai lap from Max to take pole, Abu Dhabi 2020 style. Nice to see you playing up Mercedes to ensure Max is seen as a miracle worker. What? Michael entered 10 races in 1999. In those 10 races, Irvine out scored him. The missed races are removed. I think you'll find that he wasn't included for Silverstone. Even in F1's website: https://www.formula1.com/en/results.html/1999/races/694/great-britain/race-result.html He was not offici...

It amazes me the amount of people who think he's not going to be competitive straight away. He hasn't spent the last year sat around just playing PlayStation and eating crisps In 2019 he scored double the points of any other rider he'll be racing against on Sunday. The results whilst he's been away...

Re: Who are the BEST QUALIFIERS on the grid?
This never seems to happen in F1. Just because driver A beat driver B a certain number of years ago and now driver B is beating driver C, it doesn't necessarily mean you can simply rank the drivers. Take your nuance elsewhere! It isn't welcome here! In all seriousness, there is definite m...

Re: Who are the BEST QUALIFIERS on the grid?
I'm legit confused about how people could be confused about Verstappen having a very solid argument for being the best qualifier on the grid. InB4 he claims more pole positions this season than Hamilton has managed in any of his F1 seasons (granted -- he'll have 23 races to do it). Get used to Vers...

My understanding is that the current smaller wheels were to limit the size of brake components... to limit braking performance. With much larger rims, has there been any rule change to specify brake rotor size, etc.? I can't imagine 7G braking performance with these 18" wheels. I believe there's al...

Might be a stupid question but what will the performance difference be? I haven't looked into it yet... I don't know, but I guess the much smaller sidewall means they will be a lot stiffer. I assume the cars will maybe need more suspension travel to cope with hitting kerbs as an awful lot of that i...

Interesting insights from Tsunoda. Analysed Alonso's driving style during the race, then used his techniques after he passed him into some corners, and found the performance was better for some of those corners. Sponge confirmed.
