Re: Indy500
I'm not a seasoned Indy follower by any means but it looked to me that Pagenaud got a bit lucky, not really doing anything to manage fuel (ignoring requests from the pitwall) and instead gambling on there being an accident so that he could save fuel while the yellows were out. Without that Bourdais...

Re: 2019 Monaco Grand Prix Race Thread
I can't wait! Every year I grumble about Monaco being a crummy race and then, as the race approaches I get so excited, almost giddy about it. One day I must go see it in person. I hope there is some good racing today. Lewis will probably be impossible to beat, so I am looking forward to some battles...

Put a top tier Indy driver in the best car in F1 and you'll have a winner. Both series have some great talent.

Re: Indycar - COTA (Anyone else giving it a watch?)
Indeed but when F1 is judged to be boring because of the lack of overtaking that's mainly a product of the cars being so much faster than Indycars, Indycars being 14 seconds slower than F1 cars is probably mainly because of the crude aero which conversely allows the car to follow more closer and al...

Yep, we can agree to disagree. Why does it have a social obligation to politics? And why only F1? Do you see that in any other shows that gain TV exposure? Do they do a minute's silence on every program televised? Are you outraged that they didn't hold a minute's silence in Britain's got Talent? Do...

I agree with you. But i think a strong social movement like the "me too" one could be paralleled with a peace movement. I know it is ideological and somewhat contradictory.

Re: Should F1 acknowledge the New Zealand tragedy this weeke
I would like to see F1 adopt a policy endorsing peace and tolerance in general, including perhaps a symbol on the cars etc. Frankly I'd like to see it as a world wide movement. To me that makes more sense than one off responses to tragedies or disasters. The tough part of this sort of thing, is once...
