Does anyone know why the mileage limit for filming days is set at 100 kilometres? Surely it would be better to limit it to a certain number of laps as the tracks used are different lengths so if a car starts a lap that would take it over the 100 kilometre limit are they meant to stop in the middle o...

It just occurred to me that the rule that says that if there are less than 20 cars on the grid then the Concorde Agreement would be null and void was actually broken at Indianapolis in 2005 when only 6 cars lined up on the grid for the start of the race. I know it wouldn't happen but it would be a nice gesture if somehow the other teams decided to let Marussia end up on the front row of the grid. If it did happen the FIA would probably charge the teams with bringing the sport into disrepute.

There is a story on Autosport quoting Rob Smedley saying that putting cockpit canopies on cars would be relatively easy to do if that is what is needed after what happened to Jules on Sunday but I'm not sure that a canopy would have done much to help in this case.
