Re: Mclaren want Alonso back
I think this is very possible. He is not happy at Ferrari at the minute which is why, I believe, Kimi was signed. If Alonso left they would have at least one top driver.

Re: Why Raikkonen left Lotus for Ferrari
I don't know how 'cool' Kimi is but there are two big reasons why I always liked him. His driving talent and his straight forward bluntness and honesty. This bluntness has always been a breath of fresh air. He answered a question honestly. I suspect a lot of those who are saying that he should have ...

Re: Massa talking too much?
On which planet do you reside??!?!?!?? That underlined bit in bold has to be the most farcical thing I've read on PF1 all year. Would almost warrant a LOL if it wasn't for the fact you actually believe it to be factually true. Facts: since 2009 he has finished in the drivers championship 6th, 6th a...

Re: Button might lose Mclaren seat?
As a world champion should he not have been moving heaven and earth to get into a better car? If it was me I would have offered to drive for free for a year to get Webbers seat at RB! He is either: 1. Taking the easy option of looking for a long term contract at a high profile team to 'see out' his ...

Re: Massa so traumatized his brains are falling out ? Talk
He is looking for a job so he is looking for attention. Considering the amount of threads about him here it is working quite well! :) No, he is not looking for attention. Though many armchair experts feel they know what kind of talent Massa is, looking from the outside in, they don't. The fact that...

Re: Vettel or Newey?
This is an interesting debate. For me answer is RB's success is a combination of both. Newey has come up with the best car bar none. But if Vettel was not in the seat and assume that Alonso, Hamilton and Raikkonen were in their own teams would they be going for 4 WDC's in a row? I don't think so. Al...

Re: Another day, another gun massacre
It probably is as simple as that though!I don't think it's as simple as "too many guns"
You would have to believe that if it was very hard to get hold of a gun these massacres would be very rare instead of being a regular occurrence.

Re: Massa says he is going all out attack!
Massa is trying to infer that he has been under performing playing the 'submissive' No.2 role. You can't blame the lad for trying to spin it that way when he is trying to land a decent seat. But of course it is rubbish. If he was able even to stay in touch with Alonso he'd be signing a new deal with...

Re: UFOs are they fake or real?
How can someone say real? Its pretty much impossible to travel from one star to the other, the distance is way too big. We would need about 6-7 years to travel at the speed of light to the nearest "possible life holding" planet. How the heck would we do it? Put Vettel or Hamilton in the cockpit. Th...

Re: Rate Ferrari, what should Alonso do?
I feel Alonso is fully justified in being frustrated (though he should be more careful with his outbursts). Even allowing for the car being inferior as mentioned the strategy calls have been extremely poor. In the last qualifying who decided that when Alonso was going for a tow that Massa would be o...

Well I expect I may be part of an extreme minority but I am a Ferrari fan who admires what Vettel and the Red Bull team have achieved. All winners and champions have a ruthless streak that may not be very endearing but it is that attitude that makes them what they are: Winners! RBR are doing exactly...

Re: Driver deterioration with hindsight
Interesting one this. A big factor is confidence. The younger you are the less fear you have. With age comes responsibility also (maybe married and have kids) your priorities change.
It has to be said though, Schumacher drove on the ragged edge regularly well into his late thirties.

Re: Ferrari reject Hulkenburg by text message
Although this might be poor conduct from Ferrari if true I think it is also poor from Hulk (or his manager) making that part public. You didn't get job, don't make yourself look petty by getting into this kind of tale telling nonsense! Plus if Hulk was indeed seriously considered then perhaps best ...

Now that it's official, WHY did Ferrari swap Massa for Kimi? The simple answer is that they believe Kimi is faster, more consistent and will land more points than Massa and may help win a constructors title at least. Mercedes will get stronger and if Lotus and McLaren improve Ferrari could easily e...

Re: Any Ferrari fans tired of Alonso?
My first post (deep breath) here goes! I have been a Ferrari fan for quite a while but his recent outbursts against the team are fully justified to me. Ferrari (and McLaren) have gone soft in every department. They seem to get it wrong in qualifying nearly always. RB send their cars out at just the ...
